BS!
apart from Falcao, Socrates, Cerezo, Zico and Eder, Brazil were not good in 1982.
played grate stuff but against good teams struggled (almost lost to USSR and did lose to Italy).
suggest Hungary 1954
shudda won but had 2 very tough games v Brazil n Uruguay too get to finale (Puskas injured) while Germany had easy route and were fresher.

they had Junior in 82 as well.

Out of those I've seen, I'd go for the France side that made the semis in '82 & '86 and were European champions in between.
Memories have faded a bit now, but even though I was just a young lad I remember they were great to watch. Still one of the best int'l midfileds in my lifetime.
Too young to remember The Netherlands side of '74, and still not old enough to properly appreciate them in '78.

Was it 54 when Hungary beat (West) Germany 8-3 in the group and then lost to them in the final?

Yes mate, 1954, Hungary were by a countrymile the best team in the world at that time, 8-3 win in the group, and somehow they lost to Germany in the Final.
Dutch side in 2010 was quite good and actually unlucky not to win 2010 World Cup despite what everyone says about Spain and Holland.

England 1990 would've been worthy world cup winners, albeit that they failed to win in a fairly poor year. had so much quality in that side though.

I reckon she was English, about 22, looked like a clever girl, and completely game for a laugh.
