It's not Rise that's poisonous, it's Levy. No doubt he has caused a lot of stress, broken promises and forced Poch no to play him once he wanted to leave. Levy has been crticised by melicous behavior by others extra Spurs players too.
The poor guy had the opportunity to have his big move to one of the Manchester clubs and was blocked by Levy, then forced to sit on the bench because of the politics. Now both teams have lost interest and the moment has passed. He will likely never win a trophy in his career now.

He said it’s the best job in the world but there are also drawbacks to it too. You’re not 12 so I imagine you knew that, or did you assume it’s all sweetness and light from beginning to end?

Not much else to do in Stockport I imagine. It's either internet trolling or the crack pipe.

Can't really argue with that
We need more people like Danny Rose in football
What is it with Spurs and honest entertaining comments from left backs. First BAE now Rose, the romance of football is lost on them
What I find interesting is when Rose was going through such a hard time in his life he chose to take it out on the club's transfer policy and lack of so called star players (in his opinion).
If that gave him some kind of relief and help then so be it. However, you would have thought that would have been the last thing on his mind. Particularly if he is not really that bothered or maybe he really is? .
I see nothing wrong with the quote attributed to Rose in MKspur's post above.
Premiership footballers are public figures to a pretty large audience, and it can be helpful to many of us to have such figures tell the truth about their profession.
Most people have stress in the workplace - Rose is no different.
Hope he gets to play for England and does well.

He has to go as soon as, we should have flogged him last summer when his stock was high. The problem now is only Everton want him, and I'm not convinced he will fancy going there.
He is not happy at Spurs, and he is no longer first choice for us, time to move on. He has been a fantastic player for us overall and I wish him well.
Sold him last summer wasn’t a option though was it.
He was laid up injured while going through mental health issues.

I know he's always been a bit chunky but I thought he looked downright fat on Sunday. I don't think being on the bench for England will be doing him any good as he has openly admitted that when Spurs play well without him he can't handle it.
He's a pampered bell. Doubt he could even remotely handle a normal persons life
Of course there is more to football that meets the eye. If it was easy they would not be getting those salaries. I have no sympathy for someone who earns in a week what I do in 3 years and then has a moan about how much he is earning or that the club does not bend to their wims because they they are bigger than the club.
If you don;t want to be at the club don't sign the contract. If he is moaning about playing time then he must know Pochs view on it. He is paid to train not to play. If he plays then its the managers decision. Time for Rose to get some balls the over pampered pr*ck .
l feel his pain with the depression it’s shat , but to say he wouldn’t recommend football as a career is just bizarre.
15 hours a week of work , 80k a month I wouldn’t mind some gormo shouting insults at me for that sort of cash , if I could have his wages for a month I’d be able to restart my life all over again .
