I watched the match and Mata is maybe the only player i'd take from Ch-e-l-s-k-i. I mean, he is better than Young and a natural lefty - barely caught out of position, possession and rarely loses the ball.

Anelka didn't do a lot?

lamps wasn't great but he's getting a lot of unfair stick, i agree that his best days are behind him but at least he got stuck in and won some 50/50 challenges which can't be said for many of our players

Bosingwa and Lampard were the worst players on the pitch, Mata and Torres the best IMO

For me it would be:
Cech 7 had no chance with any of the goals and produced a couple of good saves.
Bosingwa 5 gave away the free kick for the 1st goal and the penalty although it shouldn't have been a penalty.
Cole 5 Nani just tormented him too much.
Ivanovich 6 did nothing wrong but just didnt play like he can.
Terry 7 he tried his best,putting in a few last gasp tackles which saved a few certain goals.
Ramires 7 defensively he was brilliant but going forward he really let us down including that sitter.
Meireles 5 largely anonymous, although his passing was crisp when he had the ball.
Lampard 2 i honestly cant think of anything he did he needs to be dropped for next weekend.
Mata 7 caused Smalling all sorts of problems and created a few decent chances.
Sturridge 6 after being fouled 3 times by Evra in the 1st 20 minutes he just drifted out of the game.
Torres 7 scored our goal although he should have had atleast 3 and could have scored 6 with a bit of luck.

Mata was awful, caused Smalling, a 6 foot 5 centre back playing at right back hardly any problems and basically begged Nani to shoot for the second.
The only players worse were Sturridge and Lukaku who makes Mertesacker look quick and nimble

Torres - 8.5 (The confidence,pace,movement and goal were there today)

Anelka - 7 (Good performance from the subs bench again,got an assist not bad)
Lukaku - 4(Could not get into the game)
Mikel - 3(awful)
