No Marcelo? Think I got Mexico for the upset.

Felipe Luis will start Brazil's World Cup last-16 tie against Mexico instead of Marcelo, who was forced off against Serbia because of a back spasm.

Marcelo did train on Sunday so should be available off the bench.

Right-back Danilo has recovered from the thigh problem that ruled him out of the Serbia game, but his replacement, Fagner, may keep his starting spot.

Mexico are without key centre-back Hector Moreno, who is suspended after accumulating two yellow cards.

He could be replaced by Hugo Ayala, who has not featured since starting the win against Germany.

RTM two potential upsets today, or atleast decent odds. Mexico 7/1 and Japan 8/1. Belgium could be as rusty as we are against colombia. This tournament has thrown up stranger results.

I'm cheering Mexico all the way. I can't stand Neymar and his antics and it'd be wonderful to see the look on his face as Mexico do Brazil over. I get a feeling the Brazilians feel entitled to go deep into a tournament, and they're over-passionate to the point of cringey.

Spot on
I get the impression their players and fans feel they are entitled to be in the latter stages.

I never ever thought I'd be cheering the Germans, but I was loving them battering Brazil on their home turf 4 years ago.
The way the Brazilians wailed through their national anthem because they were without Neymar, you'd have thought the boy had passed away when in fact he had an injury.

To be fair to Neymar, he does get kicked around a lot. Maybe he feels he needs to exaggerate to get the refs attention, but at this point that might actually be the reason why refs dont protect him. Chicken-egg but the refs should protect him a bit more as well, imo.

Neymar has become my most disliked player in world football this tournament. Hardly ever actually gets a hard foul (compare it to Pogba and Kantes treatment against Argies, and they just got up and on with it).

Fair enough, but it's not really just the rolling-around which makes me dislike him.

Most of all, my dislike of Neymar is because he's self-centred.

Case in point: Brazil's second goal against Serbia, Neymar provided the assist to Thiago Silva. The rest of the players celebrated with Thiago, but the camera panned to Neymar who was pointing to his chest with both hands to exclaim that the person who really deserved the credit was himself for the assist....

Griezmann annoys me too, him and neymar have this habit of slowing down the play when they want, even when they are 3 on 2. It's like "we play at my pace and my pace only".

Griezmann kept doing it for france when they were a couple goals up, but he also done it in the first half the w@nker and then they conceded

The commentary on Neymar last time was cringey from ITV with Sam Butterfice kissing his arrsse on every occasion. And I see it's on ITV again. Great.
