If you want to win titles or cups, then you need to sign more quality.
If you are a big club, act like one, lets see Spurs splash £60million+ on one player. That would then put you with the big boys.

All the players you have just named are first teamers, if or when they get injured the quality drops off massively. Also, are you sure Alderweireld will be there next season ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well of course they are all first teamers. Spurs also have decent back up all over the pitch, Aurier, Lamela, Davies, Lucas, Wanyama, Walker Peters, Winks, even Sissoko puts in a shift. No team, even City have absolute world beaters sitting on the bench.
You don`t finish top three, three seasons in a row, if you have a weak squad. Spurs have as good a squad as any team in the Prem. Probably need another striker to back up Kane, and maybe another midfielder to eventually take over from Dembele, but other than that, Spurs are pretty well covered all over the pitch.
Even if Alderwereld is not there next season, he hardly played last season, and Sanchez is nearly 10 years older, and played most of last season.

Not sure if you are on the wind up, but Spurs are already up there with the big boys of the Prem, and are a CL regular now. In the current market you aint getting a lot for £60 million, just another benchwarmer.

Nope, not on the wind up, I promise you.
If you think that just making up the numbers in the CL, and never looking like winning the title is being one of the big boys, then fair play to you.
Ambition is what is needed, make a statement of intent, some of the players you have named above are not good enough to get you to a CL final or to over coming Man City.
Spurs will always get top 4 with the squad you have, but if that is the height of your ambition, then you are never going to be one of the big boys.

Spurs did not just make up the numbers, they were undefeated against the eventual winners over two legs, and were mugged by Juventus. I would be seriously annoyed if Spurs did not go a lot better next year, there are absolutely no current European Team, Spurs should fear. Teams that make up the numbers usually finish bottom of the group, Spurs won a group that included Real Madrid and Dortmund.
And frankly if Liverpool can reach a CL final, then Spurs should be able to.
How do you know Spurs will never win the title. Leicester did, so why would you stupidly discount Spurs, who have finished top three last three seasons. I assume you think Liverpool are one of the big boys, even though Spurs continually finish above them.
I don`t know why people think Pool are improving their squad, as far as I can see all they are doing is over paying for downgrades. They have signed the Brazilian Henderson in Fabinho - a downgrade on Can, and Keita who is a walking red card.
Arsenal are busy signing Europa League players for their Europa League season and United need to sign a new manager instead of yet more players.
“And frankly if Liverpool can reach a CL final, then Spurs should be able to.“
And yet they haven’t, ever. Even in their best era in over 30 years.
Well one things for certain, Spurs have to win a trophy this season. No more ifs and buts, we really have to start winning stuff. Even if it's just the league cup for now, Spurs need to start adding trophies and creating a winning mentality, instead of a bottling one which they currently possess still.

I’m not dismissing you reaching a CL final, but I’m not entirely sure that’s the most accurate barometer of how good a team is, it’s a cup competition after all so the best don’t always get there.
Arsenal haven’t reached a final since 2006
Man United haven’t reached a final since 2011
Barca haven’t reached a final since 2011
Chelsea haven’t reached a final since 2012
Bayern haven’t reached a final since 2013
Man City have never reached a final
Now those clubs have had varying degrees of success since their last final appearance, even if they’ve not reached a final more recently than you have.

Take it from me Don, this is coming season is going to be Spurs season. No more messing about, serious assault on the Prem and the CL, nobody to fear really, Spurs over the past three or four years have beaten all the top teams, so now have to start putting trophies in the new trophy room at WHL. Having the best striker in world football, should really be a guarantee of trophies. Poch just needs to up his game, and stop dismissing cup competitions as if they don`t count, they do.

Agree mate, just because Liverpool as usual are splashing the cash, don`t mean a lot, they do it every season, and every season win nothing and finish behind Spurs. Let`s be fair they had just about the easiest run to the CL final last season, but still shipped four goals and three goals in their last two CL matches.
“I’m not dismissing you reaching a CL final, but I’m not entirely sure that’s the most accurate barometer of how good a team is, it’s a cup competition after all so the best don’t always get there.”
I’m not comparing us to the likes of Barca, Bayern etc. Sandy seems to think because we got to the final last season then there’s no reason why Spurs shouldn’t. You are right it’s a cup comp and a lot of variables come into play. However to be so dismissive of the club that’s won the comp 5 times and then compare them to Spurs is daft IMO.
There’s no doubting Spurs are a good side. But you’re still relative newcomers to the CL, as are City. Expecting to get to the final is a bit naive.
