We had 2 shots on target and have a lot to thank Pickford for.
Modric and Rakitic will definitely up their game on Wednesday.
what is it that is coming home exactly?
since when was the world cup english? i thought we didn't even bother going to the first few world cups
and sweden were terrible but england scraped by again would have been nervous at the end bar a few good saves from pickford
nobody has been good at the world cup really other than belgium, france had a good spell vs argentina and england were good vs panama i think

The World Cup's coming home as the game, like most sports worth watching, was invented by the British!
We strolled through that tie and our fantastic keeper and man of the match made some incredible saves, what more do you want?
If you don't like it go and watch boring old Wimbledon instead you doom monger!

Do you honestly NOT understand how international football works?
I've watched plenty. For instance, I've seen Belgium and France light up the tournament, scoring goals galore, involved in great games. I've also watched England

France played one good game against a poor Argentina side and scraped through 4-3,the same with Belgium v an absolute garbage, overhyped Brazil side!
Probably the best games so far in the competition barring Spain v Portugal have been Russia's,who are also out tonight!
France were pretty good yesterday. They also mustered more than 2 shots on target and their entire game plan didn't revolves around aerial dominance
Imagine if Kane got injured

Ok thanks for confirming, you have absolutely no idea whatsoever how international football works!
Have to agree, Sweden were truly hopeless and once England took the lead it was game over.
Any team with Lustig in it are hopeless!

You don't know that for sure, they might be average like today, hopefully
Defensively Croatia are mediocre at best and England will have a huge advantage aerially and load the box as often as possible.
Can't stand that football myself but results are results
I wouldn't bet on Croatia being much better in midweek. Was listening to a podcast last week with a Croatian journo, who claimed they tend to wilt under the pressure. Not sure how true this is. What I do know is that their best performance was in a game they were under little pressure in and expected to lose (Argentina). They were also ridiculously good when they beat us (Northern Ireland) in a recent friendly, where again the pressure was obviously off
most of the Croatia team play for Real, Barca Juve, Liverpool Spartak Moscow, teams who players have pressure week in week out, I am sure they won’t wilt!
They shouldn't. But tbh they did wilt against Russia and Denmark, both teams whom they on paper are vastly superior too. But not against Argentina, whom they were under no pressure to beat
I really think it will be a cracking game between England and Croatia, Ctoatis big players will step up and I think England will mature immensely for this game.
In your Man United v Watford analogy, which one was Sweden?
Still say France will win this thing....we've been excellent but I just can't see it
