The guy has behaved pretty badly. Would be surprised if a big club wanted to go anywhere near him.

Quality manager, not backed by the club in the transfer window.

Brilliant 1st season at the club, some silly decisions in his 2nd season especially the Costa situation but it was nice to see him get the FA Cup in his last game.

Conte will probably go back to Italy and find a club there.

We move on as we normally do as this 2 years managerial cycle continues - looking forward to what Sarri will bring...

He's made his money now, so he can sit back and wait for a nice comfortable national managers job,I'm sure he will have a few to choose from.

Even if he wasn’t backed, there’s no excusing his behaviour this season.

The definition of a "quality coach" does not belong to a captain who alienates his lieutenants. However good their record is, the likes of Conte, Mourinho etc who have ability and decen history no doubt, but lose the "quality" title when their man management skills fail them. A quality coach does not let ego get in the way of his priority task which is too communicate with his team, particularly the difficult to handle star players.

Do Chelsea fans really expect more success from Sarri in two years than they got from Conte?????????

No but I'll enjoy attacking football for a change.

Have to agree with Tway, when your ego gets in the way of your, and the clubs, main objectives, the quality dissipates, and you have to accept full responsibility for any failings that may(and did) occur.

A shame really, because I was looking forward to a long and successful tenure.

I gave up on him when he said, he rather lose 1-0 to Mam City than 6-0.

Yep, have to admit, that Man City game really peeeeed me off , probably more than any other in a very long time !

Those of you with sympathy for him - he's made our club less attractive. He handled Costa awfully, we played terrible boring football last year, alienated players, finished outside the top 4 and watched him throw one strop after another. Sarri better be a coach who makes our big players happy and plays a system for them, not against them.

It's the club ethos...huge highs and desperate lows... $puds and Pool fans would snap your hand off

He should have followed Jose’s example and behaved impeccably

Mourinho behaved well, it was his players who downed tools.
