Thought Arfield was a LW but it appears he's going to be CM. Take it he can kind of play anywhere from midfield forward.

That’s what I’d have thought initially before the bury game but after what he did with candeias in that game I’m not so sure.

What did he do with Candeias?

Played him more central

Don't see Ejaria playing at all.

Possibly not, it’s just my opinion of what he will do. Think ejaria got the number 10 shirt so I’m possibly reading too much into that but we are all guessing

I don't see Ejaria getting a game tonight.

I reckon it'll be a 4-3-3 with Candeias on RW and Windass behind Morelos.

Candeias central seems daft, albeit i never seen him in that role.Did he look good in there?

His main asset is crossing, would imagine that would be nullified centrally.

Yeah wouldn’t surprise me if he goes with a more traditional setup using players where they played last year.

The whole team looked decent I thought but it was a friendly v bury so who knows

Yeah it’s a bit of an unknown at the minute but going by the bury friendly it could be 4-1-4-1

Lets hope we dont take this mob lightly.

Start with a high tempo, big crowd behind us and hopefully win by 2/3 clear goals.

There's no way Gerrard will be taking anything lightly ever.

Whether that transfers over to the players over the course is anyone's guess but he'll be demanding maximum effort every time, which is very refreshing.
