I literally gave you the different circumstances in the next sentence dude. Literally the next sentence. Things can fall into place sometimes. You have a run of winnable games at the start of the season in which your best players are playing well, you have a great run of form as a result of that and then all of a sudden everyone’s terrified of playing you and that just helps you win more games. On top of that no team is giving you a serious challenge meaning you have no pressure helping your team win more games. I think city are a good team, but not the best team to win the pl. that’s my explanation as to how they broke all those records.

And I stand by the fact that aside from the seven players I gave the rest of city’s squad is full of average to ok players. Please let me know which players in that average to ok group you disagree with me placing there.

You've just made that up.

You need to revisit last season, especially what happened in the first 1/3 of the season. No team giving City a serious challenge? Are you serious? United and City were neck and neck for the first quarter of the season.

It's one thing to say that City have paid more for players than those players are worth. It's another thing entirely to say, irrespective of them being overpriced, they are by and large mediocre players. What you are saying is quite frankly unsubstantiated rubbish.

You're now saying that around 60% of the first team is very good. The rest is average. That alone is a far cry from what your earlier comment implied that in the last 5 years (a period in which (in your words) the vast majority of City's first team squad has been acquired), the club has only bought 4 players that can be considered "good".

You say that "you stand by the fact" - it isn't a fact. It's your opinion. I disagree with your opinion (that's my opinion). But don't try to pass off your opinion as fact, because it's not.

No challenges at the start of the season? City weren't in the best of form at the start of last season. They drew in the second game at home against Everton. got an injury time winner in the next game away to Bournemouth. It was about 5-6 games in before they started to show their capabilities. And at that time they were neck and neck with United who were at the time winning games comfortably.

It's tiresome to have to read comments from people like you who make things up. The reason why you have had to resort to making things up is because the actual facts don't validate your opinion.
