Exactly my thoughts too

Would love a bit of disgusting financing.

I've always been conflicted to be honest with billionaire cash injections. I enjoy the way we operate and work "organically" within our means but equally, it's not my debt and i'm not benefitting in any way at all.

Season tickets aren't exactly cheap and at the end of the day you want to see attractive winning football which that unlimited fund can give you.

I do prefer how we are though. Could be that i enjoy the underdog fight about it and the journey that comes with it rather than skipping straight to the reward.

After watching Chelsea for 50 years most of them in the 2nd Division I can categorically tell you there is a bit to be said for skipping straight to the reward!

Really wish that we’d stop being so slow and so lackadaisical in our approach to transfers and the transfer window. All too ponderous and reactive as opposed to knowing who or what we want and going for it. If we get rejected by a club or player; so what? Move onto the next option.

Wouldn’t it be nice to be a bit more ambitious though? I mean imagine winning something with this group of players?

All we need is a big money CM signing and a versatile wing-forward and we are sorted.

That's the exact problem - just because we are doing well with this group doesn't mean we'll continually improve to the point of winning.

At some point, players will look to leave and we have to rebuild once again. The core that we have is great and it takes just 2 or 3 max signings of real quality to get us over the line.

If that happens, it makes future transfers even easier because players would willingly want to join us. To be so close to winning and negotiate over peanuts is utterly ridiculous.

For me, I'd like to get Toby agreed to a new contract. I'd lose Rose (just my opinion, Davies is reliable). It's centre mid that needs something. Maybe Winks will come good, Poch must see something in him for the long term. Dunno, can't wait for deadline day out of the way and the season to begin 👍

The problem we have these days is that the players we need to improve us cost the earth and we can't afford to be drawn into a bidding war for them. We are also at a stage where we shouldn't be taking punts anymore.

Look at Yarmolenko, he has the potential to be a great buy, but he is extremely high risk, he flopped at Dortmund. At £17m it makes sense for West Ham to take the punt but not Spurs.

ideal transfers in this window: De Ligt, Pulisic, Malcom/Martial

Grealish looks a dead cert also

Exactly this. £100m would probably get us that as well. No more of this nonsense of buying a bunch of squad filler such as N’jie, Nkoudou, Sissoko and Llorente.

Precisely guys. You identify this early and then get the targets sorted.

Llorente and Sissoko look like they're staying for def and we are only linked with grealish and barrios then probably splash something toward Malcom on deadline day and get told to f off

Players we go for will wait to see if there’s a better offer. We will bid and their agents will run to Madrid, Juventus etc to try and get a higher bid from them. If nothing comes then the player might accept us. It’s not always spurs fault.

I still think we will sign martial but I think united will drag it out until deadline day to unsettle spurs. Again not our fault.

I think sometimes spurs fans need to remember who we are and stop acting like spoilt children. It’s not always levy’s fault that transfers take time. We can’t throw the mega bucks around like some clubs. Being this way has enabled us to build one of the best stadiums in the world whilst still challenging for honours, playing good football and qualifying for the champions league. I for one applaud our business stance.

This is the biggest myth going.

We are not after the same level or value of players that Madrid, Barca etc are after more often than not. So why would they be waiting for them?
