He's had a good WC in a pragmatic looking France side. He's not been great in the final, effective yes, great no. Good goal after 3 bites at the cherry though!

Pogba has been absolutely superb, in a different class... but (and a big but) under a different manager.
And in there lies Man U’s No1 challenge. In Jose you have a manager who has been hugely successful in the past, a somewhat petulant acidic character, not famed for either his management or motivational skills, and who has really failed to get a decent return on a number of significant investments in ready-made talent, such as Pogba and Lukaku.
Going to be another interesting year.
As long as he's happy here, winning the world cup increases the possibilities for another 1 or 2 signings for us. We could use a player like Peresic. I liked Vida quite a bit as well.
