Good summary.
I think Anita will be a gonna. Shaunessy could be a big beneficiary of the Bielsa way. If any of our midfielders could fall back into a defensive position its him - Tall, good range of passing, flexible.
Squad looks bare to me. Needs 5 or 6 seriously quality additions.
Not attempting to be funny here but if we have a target of 15 to move on and we've seen 9 go so far, where does the number 8 come from?
Otherwise, fair summary and I still believe BPF should go out on loan. I expect to see two more faces next week.
Sorry, but Shaugnessy is absolutely atrocious, should be no where near our side.

I had forgotten about Coyle for most of the blog. Then had to go through and edit it. Must be something I hadn't spotted whilst doing that
Given the lack out incomings, I'd be hesitant to let anymore leave. I can't say what's our weakest area as they all look weak. Still need 3 key players plus a few for cover.
What about Romario Vieira?
"First off, the departures. Wiedwald and Lonergan have both left the club, as we lose both senior keepers from the start of last year. Neither covered themselves in glory"
- funny this given you stated many times over that both were good enough?
- tell me Lubo, why should one never buy a new gk in January?
Atleast we've signed a new striker who has settled in and started scoring goals in pre season said a fan of another team.
Liam Kitching out on season long loan to Harrogate Town
The two signings so far are good, even though I hate loans. But goalkeeper was a bad position last season and we ve got a good one. And lack of creativity in centremid, and we ve got a talented one (good technical ability but will wait to make a proper judgement)
Of that list, centreback massively stands out. Jansson, Cooper + kids isn't strong enough. Striker too. And winger.
3 quality players away from challenging, as always.

I didn't include players released on a free before Bielsa arrived. This was in relation to his fifteen less players comment. In a similar vein I didn't include Pennington or Lasogga.

Think De Bock looked decent at CB second half yesterday, but that LCB is where we are plenty covered.
Personally i think Cooper Jannson Berardi would be how I'd line up at CB right now.

I'd like to know why (given the York friendly team) many of our kids now seem to be squad players when many of them clearly (given the York friendly game) are not yet up to the level needed for first team football?
We shouldn't be looking at them as backup until they are ready.
We need to get better players than the ones we already have in the first team, not put kids in and hope that they become better.
Leeds United are reportedly ready to hijack Sunderland and Portsmouth’s attempts to sign a highly-rated Cheltenham striker
.........a report by The News, Cheltenham Star, Mo Eisa is now on the Argentine’s radar.
Of course he is, out of all the targets in the world the highly rated manager Bielsea, looks to Cheltenham, obviously
Eisa had a good season there. Wouldn't mind him being brought in if it's for a squad role.
Cos we need squad players
We have a grand total of 0 senior strikers who play there full-time. We need options in that position.
So yeah, we do need squad players.
I do understand but we are not in a position to be taking risks, so AR believes we should be challenging for top 6. It aint funny anymore.
Eisa would be a good squad player. Need a 20 goal striker and preferably a strike partner for him. Atm, I can see Roofe getting around 12 goals and that's it
Diego Polenta apparently turned us down despite being out of contract, if we are struggling to sign South Americans it's a little concerning.
I am rather looking forward to the Polenta puns though.
Do you think that Bielsa is the problem here, that Victor bless him goes to Bielsa with names and he says no regardless.
More likely the club won't pay the wages. So we will settle for cheap and cheerful and Bielsa will be required to perform miracles.
