Not far from the truth, he's not been one of the top players in the world since leaving Madrid.

that's what Arsenal will do to you.
Got to give a lot of the blame to the manager for calling him up then.
With his selection of Ozil, and his omission of Sane, he clearly hasn't watched any PL football in the past year.

Exactly, populist nonsense.
How has he been treated badly ?
He was playing out his skin and looked in real form when he was being linked with moves away or a bigger contract, what a complete u-turn he had once he signed his new bumper package.
Still think he's a classy player though, and if Mkhi and Auba play well this year under their new manager Ozil will get plenty of assists this season.
He's absolute quality on his day, but he's also easy enough to bully out of a game.

Like Rooney, I preferred the younger version of him.
Back when I had time to watch German and Spanish leagues, I was raving about him before the 2010 world cup.
Germans aren't afraid of being blunt and honest
Ozil has been shlt for Germany for a long time, and when he gets called out plays the race card. Sad reflection on todays society

Then why isn't Hoeness being "blunt and honest" about Ozil's selection over, say the in form Sane, if he's so sh-t? Maybe he is, but the Metro chose to report if this way.

How would I know? I can't imagine Low wouldn't be getting stick in Germany right now though.

Did he? Or did he say he was respecting the highest office of my family's country?
There is an important difference
They just needed someone to blame. His photo with the leader of Turkey alongside being the main man for Germany when they failed made him an easy target.
It's funny, as their nickname is "The Team" but when they failed, its one man's fault.
