With the Brazilian Butland could Liverpool struggle.
Sides will be targeting him early door. Pushing/fouls/high ball, do a stoke on him.
Could be the making of him as it was with Karius.

Wolves have money and ambition, a potent combination. Maybe too soon, maybe not
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Every club in the Prem has money, Wolves have no more than most of the Prem. I can see a relegation battle ahead.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
City and liverpool have strengthened and have not lost any of their top players.
Utd are to me an unhappy ship while spurs havent strengthened and will be lucky to finish so high again. Cfc too early and again sounds like players want out.
Arsenal may do better than most think but cant see top 4.
Top 4 for me:
Liverpool / City
Utd
Spurs/Arsenal

It's too early to say. The transfer season is with us, some might argue that it's only just begun, and that is especially so for teams in the lower half of the PL.
Obviously, top four is now a minimum for us. The main challenge for us? City aside, it's got to be Spurs. They are a fantastic team, good manager, new stadium, the works. If, and it is if, we finish above them this season, I will be happy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You’ll be happy with the “above Spurs” trophy?
I hope that is either a wum, or an isolated view amongst your supporters.
You mousers have more backbone than that anyway, let alone after the season you’ve had and the signings made.
I’m pretty
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not a wum, merely a realistic view of the opposition. The other top three at the end of the season is just as good and will probably get better than they were. If we win the PL, great. I'm not saying we're going to. I just want to sit back and enjoy watching my team win as much as possible.

Buying means jack if the 11 that turn up on the pitch are disjointed and don't fancy rolling up their sleeves and work as a unit.
There are few dark horses this year and I think other teams you have left out, will be higher placed than those you mentioned in your article.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Which ones? I think Watford are a dark horse, they have a LOT of young talent on their books (less so now with Richarlison gone but they’re usually better than other clubs at spending money)

And even if they never click fully to be a team that challenges top 6 they can carry on selling their talented young players for big prices to top teams
Everton were supposed to finish above either us, spurs or Liverpool last season, depending on who you asked. They were the team that fans of the top 6 clubs used to WUM rival fans with.

He shut you lot up at Goodison.
Wasn't that like 50 years ago?
A team West Ham could play next season, everyone fit:
Adrian
Zabaleta Reid Ogbonna Masuaku
Kouyate Wilshere
Felipe-Anderson Lanzini* Yarmolenko
Arnautovic
* I know he’s injured atm
With likes of Antonio, Obiang, Carroll, Diop, Hernandez in reserve/plan b/back up
RB and GK aside not that bad..all players who could start or push to start at at least one top 6 club last season, probably

That defence is still a horrific mess. Arnautovic is as streaky as bacon, Yarmolenko may as well be Arnautovics identical twin, streaky as feck. Felipe could is untested in the prem, Lanzini is out for 6 months, Wilshere won't last 6 games.
It will be typical West Ham, the odd flash of brilliance, raising their game when Spurs are in town, getting done at home to Cardiff/Hudersfield, finishing bottom half. It's the West Ham way.
Newcastle Benitez.
Fulham Jokanovic attacking, Sessegnon Seri Schurrle.
Fabianski is far better than Adrian, and Issa Diop will be in their back 4.
Not sure why Wilshere won't last more than 6 games, played over 60 games over the last 2 seasons.

Exactly, Wilshere is long overdue. A 21 year old with no prem experience is not going to be able to shore up that defence by himself. Winston Reid has a long term injury aswell. And Fabianski may be better than Adrian but he is still poor overall.
That defence needs a force field in front of it otherwise it will be hammered (pun played for) on the counter. Felipe and Yarmolenko won't be tracking back and Wilshere lacks speed and strength.
The bangest of average squads.

Pushing the top 6 is a relative term.
As arsenal finished with 63 points (and anywhere form 61 to 65 points can cover 5th/6th /7th in a season where the bottom 3 approach 40 points.)
then any said wanting to push the "top 6" need to get 60 points.
Can anyone see west ham, everton, leicester, burnely or wolves getting 60 points?
We also need to ask about ambition. When some of these clubs hit 40 they take foot off gas.
After spending £50m on a Brazilian surely Everton will bang up the table.

We spent £56m (likely to be more) on a Brazilian. So there.
That will just be a short term fix, the media and rival fans will break him.
Just be thankful he won’t be up against Stoke as I believe VAR isn’t being used this season?

You’d have been better getting yourselves into town and gettting a Brazilian wax from a clinic, cheaper and probably score more.
