I doubt they would keep releasing the test match information if it’s noy going to be ready.
I think it’ll be ready but not completed. Fit example the outside cladding isn’t a essential part to get it ready for use so that’s something that can be done after
Yea maybe, that's not a bad point. But still worries me they need to recruit more people in a mad rush this close to supposed completion date. Surely if it was just the cladding etc then this mad rush wouldn't be happening?

I’m not say it’s just the cladding I’m saying things like that don’t have to be completed for us to play there meaning more people will be put on the more urgent parts.
It’ll be ready for Liverpool but not fully completed is my view.
Tbf the timeline was crazy. To built 3/4 of a very complex stadium in 12 months is astonishing.
Went passed it the other day and it doesn't take an engineer to see how unfinished it looks. I thought how the hell are we going to get this ready in a months time or so. Half the stadium looks missing.
The amount of money being chucked at it to complete it is ridiculous as well.
With hindsight it probably would have made more sense to knock down the hole of the family stand for the 16/17 season so we could start building it quicker.
Surely if it was on track then they would have resourced staff accordingly. The fact they are now pretty desperate to get people in shows it's not on track.
Maybe I am over doing it, but I am a little worried.

The money chucked at it is a concern but part of me does wonder whether the club has to foot all the bill if the construction company are behind. Perhaps they are paying at least towards some of these costs if thrybah3v committed to a completion date.
I know some and read other people that have worked there that the turnaround on staff is quick because they are working so hard they do a month or so take the money and quit

Depends how the contract is I guess. If the subcontractor have taken all the responsibility then we probably won't be as hit financially, however if we decided to build it in-house and a variety of different subbies then we are probs more screeeewed.
If mace don’t hit the deadlines apparently they get hit with massive financial penalties

I work in Procurement and look after statement of works/contracts all the time with 3rd parties. I'm pretty sure they would have had a fixed outcome contract linked to a completion dates of different phases, if these dates are not met then financial penalty clauses are put in place.
yeah just looking at it you can see in won't be complete but hopefully it will be ready for the match.
Won't look great unveiling an incomplete stadium
We are still a month away from the first public test event and much can get done in this time when in the final stages.
Anything between now and then is just pure speculation unless officially from club.
A job that is seriously behind schedule is a lot different to the whole thing being seriously behind schedule.
I would hazard a guess that this particular job may have something to do with the skywalk because that appears to be the only thing to me construction wise and high up that does not seem to have progressed.
Not sure it's a critical feature that needs to be completed in the next several weeks but perhaps there is urgency to have it done and dusted by the NFL game.
Reckon it’ll be ready for the Liverpool game, but certainly not finished. As long as any unfinished building work passed health and safety then it’ll be fine. They can bang out the work relentlessly during international breaks and depending on how the CL and league cup fixtures fall, might get an extended time period there to work on finishing it.
Apparently the bars are only going to be ready to serve cream soda for the first six months, until all the pumps are sorted out.
