Rating any footballer is simple.
He plays for MY club = World Class
He plays for a RIVAL club = Shiite
----------------------------------------------------------------------Rubbish. I’ve no problem saying your front 3 is class as is Robertson. VVD is good but not the great CB he is made out to be by some and I said this long before he was even linked to Liverpool.

From Van Dijk’s PL debut for Liverpool onwards...
We’ve conceded 10 goals in 15 league games = 0.66 goals a game.
Before his debut this season we conceded 28 goals in 23 league games = 1.22 goals a game
So yeah conceding half the amount of goals you were before is not a big change right?
I also read somewhere that in the second half of last season we had the most clean sheets and most points of any team (this was true going into the last few games of the season when I read it).
We did alright I’m Europe too.

Can't remember the figures exactly (and I've no inclination or time to go and root them out now), but it was somethig like 33 conceded in 32 games before he signed, and 22 conceded in 23 games in which he played. So not much difference really.

There was game towards the end of last season I think against West Brom where Liverpool were leading 2-0 and a journalist tweeted Salah will get the plaudits but VVD has been immense today.
It finished 2-2 with VVD nowhere to be found for either goal. That games perfectly describes him. Looks great most of the time but when the chips are down he struggles as much as most defenders.
