A poor bet for me as United won't sack him mid season.

Fingers crossed.

£500m spent. Dull turgid football, ageing team and a manager cracking up.

Aye, if recent history is anything to go by, he’ll only be sacked if we miss out on the CL. I’ve said it for a while but Jose just needs to get on with the job, enjoy it.

He’ll never get a better job than United, no pressure from an over bearing owner, money to spend, no pressure from the club to play a “certain way”, just crack on and stop whinging mate.

Technically the squad is ageing, so he got one right.
The football is dull. That’s 2.
Wouldn’t quite say the manager is cracking up, but he’s saying a lot of the wrong things in public so I’ll give him a half point there.
No idea how much Mourinho has spent.
2.5/4 subjected to confirmation of how much Jose has spent

Despite my earlier comment and well known disdain for Mourinho, I sincerely hope he doesn’t get sacke because it’ll by a symptom of another failed season. I’d much prefer he bow out gracefully at the end of the season if we are doing tolerably well... let’s be pragmatic, we’re not winning the league.

Well he's spent pretty darn close to £500million:

Pogba 105
Lukaku 84.7
Fred 59
Matic 44.7
Mkhitaryan 42
Bailly 38
Lindelof 35
Dalot 22
Grant 1.7

1.12 euro to £. Around £385m and you think that excuses him for asking more money and playing dull football. Have a day off

I don’t think it’s ‘turgid’. More a middle ground term I’d use. At times it was very good. At times closer to turgid. But on average more in the middle.

Being that we had our highest goals per game output than at anytime under SAF it wasn’t exactly LVG style awfulness

Well, he spent £115 million less than claimed in the OP. So hardly chump change

Bet Jose is close to collecting at least one of FA cup, League cup, CL or league.
