Last season when he got 9 league goals and 10 league assists? 6 CL goals contributions in 5 games? Don't even know why I'm bothering to debate with you

Nobody said that.

I’m saying he’s not quite what he was two years ago and I hope he gets back to that level this season.

It’s hardly a controversial opinion.

If you're expecting him to score 18 league goals every season then prepare to be permanently disappointed with Dele. He was playing as the second striker that season and those numbers are usually associated with out and out strikers. He played more as a proper attacking midfielder last season with Son playing more regularly in advanced positions, which he will do again this season. His scoring numbers went up, his creative numbers went down. This is normal

I’m expecting (hoping) he improves and gets back to what we know he can be.

You know what improve means right? Like Harry improves year on year?

Well that’s what he should be striving for too.

No I have no idea what improve means

He changed his role, was less of a secondary striker and more of an attacking midfielder.

The numbers for all his metrics - assists, chances created, passes, tackles, interceptions, getting fouled - all increased. Whereas his goal scoring decreased. He now gets way more involved in the build up and is adding more and more to his game.

None of that matters because he scored less automatically he’s had a bad season

You going to make a point to my comment or just use a smiley?

He’s changed his role?

Well change it back to what it was before, and let’s have the Dele of old back.

Why are you so desperate to prove that he’s not lost a bit of his spark when everyone can clearly see that he has?

Alli of 2 years ago?

When Harry Kane was that age in 2013, he was just off the back off his dire spells at Norwich and Leicester.

When Kane was Alli's age now he had only just had his breakthrough year.

Ever get the feeling you are setting a standard that does not really exist

That was meant for Sizzle, not Edin
