Butland will come in as he'll cost the same as how much we sold Courtois for.

Kovacic seems likely as a loan option.

Replace tibo with anyone, get this lad from Madrid, Drinkwater out, swap Willian for martial so we've got a quick exciting striker. And replace willian with one of fekir/bailey/zaha or even give CHO a go id be more than happy. How many of those will happen I'm not sure

With no CL football.....if you keep Hazard, Kante and pull those above off, even if Kovacic is only on loan, you would have done very good business.

Need a striker though. Can't see where the goals are coming from.

We are doomed by all the media fantasising in the last month, setting us up with high expectations which most never had a chance to surface, condemning us to general disappointment....
If the board pays the absurd prices for targets they will be deemed naive and inexperienced, and if thy resist, then even worse.

That's why I tried to keep it half realistic, a loan move, swap deal and £50 million for fekir or bailey, hopefully with half the cost covered from offloading Drinkwater.

Kovacic looks like is going to happen, initially on loan with an option to by next season for €60m. Kepa rumours seems to have gathered pace in the last couple of hours. The club happy to pay his release clause of €80m, but first the are waiting to hear from Kepa, if he is willing to join CFC. The club will move on Butland if Kepa decides to stay put.

Nither of Fekir, Vecinho, Martial (swap deal with Willian), Bailey and Bernard won't happen in this transfer window.

I would still be happy if only Kovaic and Kepa were signed. The club have time until 31st Aug to sell and loan some of the deadwood at the club.

Forgot to mention above but Kovacic to Chelsea depends a lot on Courtois going the other way.
So yeah, you might score more goals but you might concede few more too.

Kovacic doesn't score goals....

Not but he helps scoring them though.
