Kovacic is quality. Really surprised Real are leaving him go. Him in midfield with Kante and Jorginho is really good on paper

This Kepa guy was meant to join Real last Summer but turned them down because he didn’t want to play for another Spanish club. Don’t know much about him but seems a better option than Butland

We still have Morata up front....

Madrid don't want him to go, but the player is adamant on leaving.

Winter window. And it was Zidane who blocked the move, not the keeper not wanting to join.

The deal fell through and Athletic immediately put him on a bigger contract to raise his buyout clause, which was just €30m.
