Will try and ammend accordingly in between entertaining and socialising obvioulsy.
Evans was less than £500,000 so that's a million saved already.
Is that official Spart? Source. I thought it was undisclosed and just going on hearsay with the 1.5 million happy to save us a million though.
It's as official as the DCFC web site.
Well no point in doing any predictions until 5 minutes to KO on Saturday. Anyone have a clue who will be playing?
Apart from Keogh obviously
Wow DCFC official will ammend accordingly.
Still think it'll be Derby vs Leeds Heb but this is the championship, anything can happen.
Don’t think FloJo was more than £2.5m
Keogh will - I have no doubt - be on hand to gift Leeds two early goal scoring opportunities.
I like a bit of tradition............
Money in should also include 2m for Rowett (lol at stoke) and Huddersfield staying up so another £1.5- £2m for ince. Also losing bent baird and shackell freed up about £3-4m a year in wages
Tried to lump wages into small/medium/big/stupid.
Think we need to loan some people out or our wage bill might be too much.
We are consumers, not shareholders, ergo don't worry about it.
Presumably, there are handsomely paid people who do that for us
Sporting Gijon want Blackman on loan so hopefully one out the door. This lot below are out of contract end of the season so if we get a few out on loan before the end of the month it could be the last we see of them.
Craig Bryson
Jacob Butterfield
Bradley Johnson
Nick Blackman
Marcus Olsson
David Nugent
Tom Huddlestone
Alex Pearce
Joe Ledley
Cameron Jerome
Mel says we are Ok by FFP. That's Ok with me.
Didn't realise it was ten players out of contract at the end of the season I was expecting a maximum of seven.
Based on the transfer fees paid should they all go out on a free transfer that's a £20 million+ loss
Whoever it was at Derby that suggested signing Johnson and Butterfield on a permanent transfer needs a damn good slapping.
Have to agree on Johnson n Butters madness.
Hughes and Bryson were both out injured at the time, but sadly the lack of pace from both and inability to successfully pass the ball in a forward motion killed our game.

The sad thing is we actually chased Butterfield for a few weeks before getting him. Johnson was more a knee jerk signing on deadline day when it was known he was available.
Trying to be fair to the two players - Butters during his first season did reasonably well and scored a few goals too ( a couple of winning goals as well, I think?) I was expecting him to improve for the following season and considered him to be a useful player (based on his performances in season one).
Johnson's form dipped rather rapidly however - he started off well for 2-3 games and gradually the performances declined.
Was it something the coaches did to cause the decline in these players?
Were the players no longer motivated?
Was there such a bad harmony at the club that a few select players just didn't care and were just looking to remain in the division to guarantee themselves a decent salary?
Agree they were actually ok when they first came and Johnson still does a decent job but I think its how much we paid for them which is why they are thought of as not achieving expectations. It was Pearson who caused the decline in almost every player when he arrived in the summer. They are still decent players but simply need to be played in a formation to suit their abilities. Johnson was often played in a DM role when in fact he scored loads for Norwich in an advanced role arriving in the box.
