Whatever changed their mind, I’m glad they did.

All part of the master plan.
Fax machine was only step 1. We sent a DDG body double to Russia as our final card to play. Worked a treat.
Who’s to say he will stay long term though?

DDG made his mind up not to go back a couple of years ago.

Dunno, it’s not likely he’d leave, just yet anyway.
Get him on a new 5 year deal and make him club captain. Be a nice end to a tough Summer.

He has a history of high profile feck up's for Spain, if that is the case then their mind must have been changed for a while.

good idea.
I thought no it was also DDG check aged his mind after the Spain M dia got to much. I bet Jose also sent him a text and said "this is why I left Spain, the press there are a bunch of flip-flopped vultures"
David should be presented as our skipper as well.
If DDG stays he is demonstrating remarkable loyalty, given the circumstances. A rarity in the modern game, so deserves all the plaudits.
That said, he must be beginning to wonder why the responsibility to keep Man U in the top half of the table belongs solely to him for another season.
