And Vardy has signed an extended contract too. All in all, this has been an excellent window for us.
Vardy just st signed 4 Year extension.
He’ll be 35 by the end.
Sky the diks made it sound like he’d gone.
Apparently Puel pulled a good one.
He said that Maguire would most likely be in Manchester.
For a few hours tomorrow night.
4 year ext for vardy
Maguire obviously to sign new contract as well
2 defenders
Goal keeper to challenge kasper
Right wing back
Maddison
And a couple of kids in
Just missing a quality left back
Salami out on loan wonder if we're paying wages
Uella and musa sold
Pretty good
see out his career with us happy days!!
very happy with the window we have had, ableit would have liked another top class winger (who knows,,,,perhaps we have him in Ghezzal...time will tell)
Oh no !
Are we relying on Rudders to sort Soyuncu's work permit out.
That's one we wont see then

😱😱😱 🙄😂😂
I agree it’s a good window to bring players in who can play in Puel’s system.
If I’m to be critical, I’d say
- we are lacking a top centre mid to help Ndidi out? I’m still wprrried we’re expecting King and james to play a role this year! I really hope Silva steps up.
- lots of unknown quantities, will the adapt?
- did we clear out enough of the deadwood?
All in all though, decent.
What I would say is we now need to give Puel 10 games to mould these players in to a team and show us what he can or can’t do. I don’t expect us to be the finished article going in to the Man U game nor for 2-3 after it. But following that, we’ll really be able to judge Puel.
Soyuncu looks a decent buy aswell. Looks like he likes to get stuck in.
Pleased with this one also.
looks like no one wanted Drinkwater with his massive wages. Chelsea tucked us up with Kante with his release clause but it feels good they have 2 goals a season Danny stuck with them.
Think we should have a idea after 3/4 games and then see if it needs tweaking,
Mid October will be judgement time,
Allowing for injuries, and closely fought lost games ect, or we are 4/5th and everything is rose tinted in blue
Forgetting about tomorrow's exhibition match with utd,
The season ahead leaves me
Optimistically pessimistic 🙄😳
Do today's defensive signings mean that we have seen the last of Benny in a blue shirt? I don't know about the rest of you, but I have been losing sleep over the prospect of a Wes-Benny partnership........UTF
Once we get through tomorrow night 😱😱
Is McGuire match fit,
I expect vardy and Maguire to start on the bench !
It’s a decent window but i wouldn’t say brilliant
The positives-
-Jonny Evans
-Keeping Maguire
-Maddison and Perreira
-Soyuncu is a quality addition
The negatives
-Mahrez leaving - not sure we can replace what he gave us
-Ghezzal isn’t a good enough signing in my opinion and Shaquiri would have been better at the same price
-I don’t get the new 4 year deal for Vardy. Presumably its not for less wages and no one else was in for him. His pace won’t last forever......
Striker are like gold dust,
Last season with little support and still
Net 20 goals,
He's got 2 seasons probably before he may start to slow,
Then he becomes super sub like Philips
Also means if the big club's need a striker
Its £50million or go away !
I think I have a few different positives vs. negatives but I think similarly to BlackStarr in that it's decent while not brilliant.
I always thought Mahrez was going to go.
I always thought Maguire was going to stay.
I'm surprised there's been no interest in Ndidi, but maybe higher clubs don't think he's quite ready yet.
Maddison looks an excellent signing.
Very happy to see a new contract for Vardy, even if it is 4 years for someone over 30.
Two promising signings on the last day (If Soyuncu goes through).
Pereira ticks a lot of boxes, although whether he'll hit the ground running remains to be seen.
Evans should be decent as long as he's fit.
Ward seems to have had mixed reviews and looks a bit overpriced to me but is unlikely to be important.
Ghezzal looks like a bit of a dodgy one but we'll see and I'm happy to give him a chance.
Unlike BlackStarr, I had no wish for us to go for Shaqiri.
Why would Shaqiri join us over Liverpool? Doubt we had a chance with him.
Very much optimistic on Maddison and hopeful for Ghezzal. Two good signings that could especially add much creativity to the team, and that may means Vardy hitting 30+ goals and Leicester having a good season. Good summer overall

Playing time. He’s just a bench option for Liverpool, squad depth. We could have given him regular first team football, which he has little chance of at Liverpool. Why not at least activate the £12m release clause and give him the choice?
I'm waiting to see how players fit in to the team and (where new to England) adapt to playing in the Premier League before declaring this transfer window a success.
The club has certainly tried to fill in the holes in the squad so that's a good start.
Kasper hasn't gone anywhere either.
I'm also puzzled slightly about a 4 year deal for Vardy but not unhappy with it.
Not convinced about Shaquiri for us, might have been worth a punt at £13M I suppose. Why he has gone to Liverpool to sit on the bench is beyond me.
I liked the look of Maddison against Valencia, we'll see where he plays tonight.
