Mourinho's Man Utd were on course to get 89 points with like 6 games to go last season when they gave up due to the fact that the league was obviously beyond them. but they were well capable of getting to 89 points which would have been enough to win the league most seasons.

So United's team last season was as good as most Premier League champions in Premier League history. They were unlucky that City go so many points.

That said you lost any small credibility remaining claiming all 3 of his Chelsea titles were against the odds.
