Him and Rose should both be on the pitch as they are superior to Sanchez and Davies. It isnt rocket science, genuinely baffling

It's the worst thing about Poch. Not playing Walker towards the end of his last season with us was insane.

Love Sanchez and think he could be a real top player in the future, but currently Toby is miles better. Either play 5 at the back with Toby, or drop Sanchez for Toby. So frustrating.

Sanchez is a talented player but the media and certain Spurs fans have overhyped him. He makes at least one major error per game. Alderweireld wasn't as error prone.

Sanchez is going to be around for years at Tottenham so makes sense to play him. Toby could jump ship at any time. Poch has this right.

I think he said 3rd choice CB rather than 3rd best.

Toby rarely makes a mistake and his distribution is up there with the best of them.

I think we all need to move on from Toby. He was good, still useful, but is not a long term prospect now. Sanchez is.

Sanchez was man of the match today for me and we needed his pace on a few occasions when Newcastle played it in behind us.

Verts was good too bar a couple of sloppy passes. Those two from November on helped us get top 3 fact!!

I love Toby and glad he stayed he will get his chance and can get back as a 1st choice player he’s that good sooner or later Sanchez or verts will pick up s injury and having Toby ready to fill in, so much better than foyth or CCV

have a feeling that there are still transfers to be made, Poch not telling the real story also I believe Levy has said to Poch you bought these players (Llorente, Sissoko, Janssen, N'koudou Moura) now play them

Toby was, and still Is, more than just 'useful' he is one of the 2 best CBs in the league. We have to play him if we want to succeed.

Verts is 31 now, should we move on from him because he's not a long term prospect? Play Foyth Instead? Ffs how long are we gonna keep on preparing for the future Instead of winning now, you were asking for Poch to be sacked at the end of last season because we didn't win anything and now you want to not play one of our best players to make room for a long term prospect?

Honestly can't believe you sometimes, called our defending comical today on the match thread but you're perfectly fine not playing one of the best CBs in the league, somebody who came in and helped make us one of the best defences in the league after years of being known as a team who gave away soft goals
