Salah isnt a striker. He is awesome in an attacking sense but thrives in games where Firminio is playing well.

Salah on the right with Costa in the middle, well a fit Costa, would be devastating.

Id also drop De Bruyne into the middle and drop one of your 3 as despite them all being amazing, they are far to similar in my opinion

Obviously but having them all would plug so many gaps.. Not to mention we'd have Bertrand/F.Luis to plug the left back position also. The team would look like this...

Barring maybe our CBs that is a world class team. So instead of selling these players for profit and the time, With proper coaching we could've had this team and possibly only need to strengthen 1 CB area.

Oh well.

It looks like the club are trying to rectify past mistakes.

It did feel weird watching a proper striker up front last night, bullying defenders.

Varane and Ramos supposedly the best CBs in the world had a nightmare vs Diego.

Too used to watching a striker that spends the majority of the game on the floor and being bullied off the ball.

Morata is worse than Darren bent, rather we just sign Defoe

If we are going to give Hudson Odoi and Ruben Loftus Cheeks a proper chance in the first team this season,I will be happy to concede that we didn't sign too many new players like Bailey,Christensen or Fekir but if we don't offer them much chances which looks likely,then I will be feeling quite angry and have despair about Sarri's promise of giving Cheeks and Odoi proper first team chances this season.P.S I am sure that sending Batshuayi on a seson long loan to Seville was a blunder which we will definitely rue this season in my view!

Michy has gone on loan to Valencia.

Hudson-Odoi and RLC will get a chance this season but more likely to happen in cup competitions. You can't expect CHO to start ahead of Hazard/Willian/Pedro.

I can see RLC playing in the premier league too, he's gotta be better than Barkley.

I'd like to see him in the UFC in the cage,think he missed his vocation there especially being Brazilian!

Loftus-Cheek probably suits Sarris system more than Barkley, He was better awareness and his first touch allows him so much more space.

I still think we could have kept him had Conte ( and many blue fans) been less hostile. He would have been a very good answer to our striker problem last term and this. At very least if he was adamant at leaving we could have exchanged him like for like.

I would have preferred to have Michy Batshuayi on Chelsea bench than going on loan at Seville!

Yeah doh I found out later after seeing a report about Michy joining Valencia instead of Seville as I had misread an earlier report about Michy joining Valencia as I misread that!
