Football's changed. He hasn't.
It's one thing, amongst a lot of others, that separates the likes of Fergie from him.

Fergie was something else. He knew how to rebuild teams and move with the times.

Did you feel that way when Mourinho left the first time?
“The likes of Fergie”
Has there ever been a manger with the continuity Fergie produced?
Jose may be past it but I still think his achievements are better than any other manager currently in football.
I actually think he’s had a bit of luck which has probably masked some of his flaws.

The sad thing is that these dog days are beginning to take the shine off what were incredible achievements. He may have been a bit lucky with the teams he had to play, but winning the CL with Porto was incredible. What Mourinho did at Inter was no mean feat either given that it was slap-bang in the middle of Barca dominance.
Well at least we won't be playing in europa league this season

Interesting point. Certainly valid at Porto, to an extent valid when he joined Chelsea. They'd won a lot but they were not title challengers in the PL era until Mourinho. Inter weren't at their best when he took over.

I was 50/50, I was still grateful for all he bought to us but felt he'd become a lose cannon and constantly embarrassing the club.
I was very apprehensive about his return and those fears we well founded!

Well we could tbf. Wouldn't surprise me if we ended up there either.
Firstly, Mourinho out.
Secondly, I am a big fan of Martial but that was a disgrace from him and all the other players. I hear people saying Luke Shaw did well? Rubbish he was atrocious. Fellaini was our best player today, that tells you everything. Those players out there today were all a disgrace

Direction of the club over the past 12 seasons.
Jose is just a symptom (and a victim) of the club losing it's 'soul'.
Started paying my membership in the early seventies.
Stopped about 6 seasons ago.
Nothing to do with the management or coaching. Everything to do with human resources issues. The club effectively showed itself up when it decided two defensively inept teenage twins were good enough to play full backs in the EPL. Marketing decision not a footballing one.
