He's the player that is most crucial to changing our style to what Sarri wants

That i think represents the feeling amongst the fans more

I can't link the original as I'm, at work and YouTube is blocked, but you can find it easily enough by typing in 'Jorginho ESPN'.

The question posed was 'is Jorginho Chelsea's most important player' - to which I'd agree, he's not. However it's the fact this particular pundit went off on how he doesn't rate anything about his game; it was a pretty scathing attack for no apparent reason.

Jorginho guilty of bad positioning in defensive phase (wide & cutbacks) is worth analysing. Fair.

These so-called pundits don't have leg to stand on when it comes to his (progressive) passes, initiating attacks, and moving into pocket of spaces to help with playing/building from the back. Superb.

Tempo-setter that we've needed for yonks.
Kovacic could also play the deep regista role, if required at some stage in the future as well.

These same pundits who criticise Jorginho will be the first to praise Xavi, Scholes and Busquets.

I'm not suggesting Jorginho is at the level of these players but he's that type of player so trying to criticise his tackling shows their lack of knowledge.

And whilst he isn't our most important player pound for pound, He's our most important player for the system we play, That is without a doubt.

asking an american to comment on football would be like asking a pakistani cricket player to critic Baseball.

Blarms, I remember him also as an Ipswich player, but he never had any affiliation with us but Craig did. He was apparently George's nephew.
