Nick, Peebs is one of the few goobers who is a good lad in this forum, but he does likes bantz, so you don't need to bite, if you don't feel like countering his bantz

Money’s changed hands here for sure
We had enough chances and clear cut opportunities to win the game in the first half alone. I don’t think anyone can disagree with that.
Second half you dominated the ball and were putting us under pressure but I can’t seem to recall you guys having a plethora of chances. Prior to Hazard’s moment of magic, the only chance that I can remember you nearly scoring from was Barkley’s which Cech tipped round the post.
On the balance of play, you were the better team and deserved to win, but the game could very easily have swung in our favour on another day.
I remember many matches under Wenger when we had the majority of the ball and created a few half chances and one or two big ones. We'd end up losing the game because Chelsea had better players. Yet people said we deserved to lose.
Well Chelsea did the same in the second half on Saturday but apparently they deserved to win. Go figure.
Personally I think a draw would have been a fair result on Saturday.
Cech saved a good shot from Giroud
Half chance. It would have to have been something special to score from there. You'd be disappointed if your keeper concedes that.
Kante had a good chance with a header, and obviously the Alonso goal. Other than that it was relatively comfortable.
Yeah, forgot about Kante's header , I was expecting Kepa to save Mkhi 's goal but he didn't.

Bodily fluids more likely, knowing Petey.
Don’t recall Cech making any particularly amazing saves. He made saves that you would expect him to make. Arsenal created the better chances, Chelsea had more of the ball and had more shots. Shots ≠ chances.
Don’t think Arsenal played particularly well, but they were still able to create numerous clear cut opportunities. Would say that, that is worrying for Chelsea, but it’s early days.
What I will say though, is for all the pretty football Chelsea played, their goals came from abysmal defending from Arsenal. They looked very slick though. I think that Sarri will do well with Chelsea.

Difference is most of those games we looked like scoring every time we turned over your possession and headed on the counter, you barely looked capable of getting out of your own third for most of that second half let alone worrying Arrizabalaga.

Arsenal’s big chances and goals came from some atrocious defending from us. Just kept doing the same move time after time and ripped us open.
Agreed. Destroyed Alonso's flank for 20 minutes but not much else.
Emery's very suspect for me. One to those managers whose so tactically fixated he trips himself up. Playing the high line against us knowing how Sarri wants us to move the ball into space high up the pitch was just odd. Like he worked out a brilliant attacking gameplan but completely neglected that crucial point.
Iwobi murdered azpilicueta a few times, including for the first goal.
Agree about Emery though. He bottled it a bit 2nd half, brought on Torreira but also told our full backs to stay back aswell.

Iwobi murdered azpilicueta a few times,
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Isn't that physically impossible, not to mention slightly illegal!!!
One way traffic doesn't even come close to describing it - think at 80mins it was 70% possession to Chelsea in the second half. Only thing lucky for Arsenal was the score was only 3. Was always a matter of time and amount we would score and never if.
And I was actually shocked to see Ozil come off the pitch......as I honestly didn't realize he was playing, I know are players can become invisible but that's often with bad touches or decisions, Ozil was quite literally not there.
First time in quite a while I have enjoyed a CFC game - felt like the good old days!

You do know giroud had a shot saved well by Cech and missed a one on one? That was in just 10 minutes of being on. Pull ur head out the sand
I was actually pleased Cech had a decent-ish game...the legend has looked quite poor for some time now, & whilst I don't like to see it, he's in exactly the right place to do it
Sheriff
got a great ovation aswell which was nice.
Just don't know how the cfc magazine has coped. Felt like cech done 15 interviews a month lots of free pages in the magazine nowadays.
