Yea agree with that, would be a good asset to have in our arsenal if we could get him in. UFA are a bit of an unknown quantity as are a lot of the teams at these stages, so we dont really know hoe good they are. I'm aware they got beat of Zagreb there at the weekend, however anything can happen in these ties. Was there anymore word on the Bosnian lads were were looking at?

Think it is becoming obvious Lafferty isn't a first choice target. If he was it would be done by now.
Gerrard has said a couple of times he would like to wait until the English squads settle to take advantage of any potential availability for players on loan, plus if we are in the groups there will be a change in who he could get.
Unless he is waiting until the last minute to see if Hearts drop their stance on valuation. After 31st August they essentially lose any right to get money for him, so perhaps we are hoping they end up taking a more modest fee rather than risk losing him for nothing.

Lafferty would slot in well and do a job for us. However it would be an underwhelming signing. Would prefer a younger more exciting striker to be brought in preferably as our player, not a loan. If we did hold out and tried to get Lafferty further down the line, I would understand. No need to be throwing money about if we don’t have to

Yeah I’d like to see lafferty brought back. He’s a big dafty but he knows what it takes to be a rangers player.
I’d actually rather him than any potential loans from down south as say Solanke comes up, we dropping Morelos and making him unhappy for someone else’s player to get development.

If El Buffalo picks up any sort of knock then we are in big trouble.
With Murphy out and windass away we are also a bit light in the wingers positions.

Same at centre back, Goldson or Katic go off and we’ve got only young Mcrorie and after Gerrard slating Murty fur playing Mcrorie at centre back we don’t need the media circus that would follow should Gerrard pitch Mcrorie in at centre back
