Fully expecting Boyata to be sold to someone in the next week, after the absolute clusterfook of a way his whole situation has been "handled" by all parties concerned. Has all the physical attributes to be a top CB, but unfortunately totally lacking in heart, desire, aggression, physicality, positional awareness or passing ability ... which are kind of fundamental. Still our best CB, which says more about the rest than it does about him TBH.

We're now almost at the end of BR's FIFTH transfer window at the club, and as things stand (assuming Boyata fooks off) we'll be left with TWO defenders who I would keep ... KT and Ajer, and even the latter is still very much a work-in-progress. Just think about that!!! .... I certainly wish BR would give it a passing thought now and again.

It's not just defensive recruitment either ... it's defensive coaching and organisation. Do we actually do ANY? We actually seem to make our defenders WORSE the longer they stay. BR bleating on in the post-match presser about us not having the desire to defend set pieces ... Hello, we haven't had that since the day he fooking arrived!!! In fact, as a team we don't attack balls into EITHER box, and that's been the case for a long time. How can they not see that?!!

Right. I was shot down on here for questioning JFK's ability as a defensive coach (assuming that's what he does?)
If Celtic want to help the guy 15 years after he was injured they should give him a job at something he knows how to do.
Another thing, Celtic haven't bought anyone of note since John Park left. Was that Brendan's doing?

Last rumour of the day is that Rodgers told someone last night that there will be no new signings this window.

John Terry has been doing the rounds from the start of the transfer window, anyone else have a real sense of inevitably that we are going to buy fookin no one? In my opinion we need 4 fooking signings, a combative CM, 2 CBs and a right back, and I would be tempted to include the Goal Keeper position as well 😡

The sign of a great manager is how he deals with adversity rather than continual success. BR has the chance now to show what he’s worth and turn round Celtic’s performances and results.
