If I was a Utd fan I would want Mourinho to remain for the rest of the season and see if he can turn this around. (Obviously a catastrophic run of results would mean he should get sacked)

Porto & Inter he never failed. RM he had a bit of an issue with personnel clashing mid-season but saw out the season and finished 2nd, got to the CL semis and came runners up in the cup.
He succeeded at Chelsea and was unfairly sacked first time.
He was sacked ridiculously soon after winning the league in the 13/14 season.

He hasn't managed through a bad period before.
