Yep, I'm expecting a difficult game this afternoon. I'd take a 2-1 defeat right now!
Definitely brickin it but lovin all these big games and hopefully plenty more to come
I see we're still being linked with Rolando Aarons, winger at Newcastle. That can't be right surely?
It'll be a boost to get the Grezda signing over the line. Sounds like he could be another exciting addition.
CB has to be priority though. We REALLY need to get one signed. If it's Worrall I'm sure he'll provide good cover.

That's what I though but these stories only came out yesterday and today, after we've closed in on Grezda. I don't think we need another winger and I doubt it will happen.

This is the thing I didn’t get after last week.
Nothing but a straightforward Rangers win was forecast for today and it was all pretty much a done deal with Rangers scoring a couple at least.
Now the reality after a stupid draw against a sturdy Motherwell team and a 6,000 mile trip to the Far East of Moscow and reality sets in.
Hope you win for the only reason you’ll be playing on a Sunday but will laugh my baws off if you get papped oot. 👍
I don't recall anyone saying Rangers were expecting an easy win tonight.
No one can tell how it's going to pan out. They just completely parked the bus last week so we don't have a clue how they'll play at home, on a plastic pitch too.
As I said earlier throw in a couple of schite officials and anything can happen.
They're not doing well in their league (they're 11th) but you just never know.
On paper we'll be favourites but with only a 1-0 score so far anything can happen.

This is up there with the ludicrous statement form Callum McGregor this week about “the noise” coming out of Ibrox ahead of the OF game...
There’s been total silence from Ibrox about it. But nothing like making stuff up to get in the papers and make a bit of noise yourself. Smacks of someone needing anything to get them motivated. Troubling times at Parkhead

Totally agree. UFA showed absolutely no ambition at Ibrox. Barely got out their own half. I hope that’s a true reflection. I need their league form is woeful at the moment. But have to assume a Russian premier league team are decent and will cause us problems. Not expecting an easy game by any stretch. But I believe Maribor was a bigger ask. And we answered that question. I’ll take a well organized, professional 0-0. But I expect us to score as they have to come out

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep. I fancy us to score since they have to get out of their half for a bit in this game. We had 66% possession in the last game! That's mental for a big European tie.
I agree Maribor was probably the bigger tie and they were no great shakes really.
I'm going to go for a nail biting 1-1.
Sorry but there were many many comments on this board about how it looked like a fairly straightforward tie to negotiate through.
Rangers the club itself of course didn’t say anything. They wouldn’t. But there was a lot of bravado on here at the time and likely because there was nothing from the first leg to seem overly concerned about with them just trying to limit damage.
That journey and the enormity of it especially after daft dropped points late on in games now presents a different skew. Nothing wrong with that and were it Celtic I’d be majorly concerned about us trying to see out a narrow 1-0 win over an away tie anywhere.
TBF they offered zero in terms of football being played and it should be a formality. I understand there may be some who think this way after seeing us batter them for 90 mins.
It is though only a 1-0 lead and to think anyone will cruise the second leg is a bit bonkers.
I've not read all the Dembele stuff, just a wee bit.

It was the best of all the possibilities that included the likes of Bordeaux.
No one thought it would be easy however. The standard of the Russian premier league is high and it will be difficult over there. We’ll need to be at our best and concentrate to the final whistle.

Fairly relaxed to be honest about Dembele. You can never time when decent enough bids come in and whilst I’d love to keep him I have to admit his injury record is concerning. Thought he’d go for £25m+ but £22m seems a good deal if we have a sell on clause on top. We were never going to keep him forever and he can only be sold in a transfer window so it is what it a.
What I am more concerned about is our managers total blind spot to concentrating on defensive improvements having spent next to nothing on the weakest part of our team for the past few years yet whines away about not getting McGinn who whilst a “nice to have” was nowhere near a necessity.
He’s left this far too late yet again and there is no way I’m pointing the finger at the board as they have because him to the tune of tens of millions. Some people just have no idea how a plc operates.
It doesn’t give a fwck about anything much more than year end results and when times are great they just reap the extra rewards. Our cost base is ridiculously cultus for a Scottish football club and thankfully we have substantial cash and assets of value.
Dembele and his likes will continue to arrive and depart. That’s football 👍
