Players without a future at the club include James Keatings, Paul McMullan and Tam Scobbie. I suspect pay-offs will happen in the next few hours to move them on.

got to say those 3 players are pretty well established Championship players, Scobbie spent most of his career in the Premiership

surely wont be short on offers

5 Star article Ivan

So refreshing to hear news on Scotland’s most handsome club.

A welcome change from stench and staunch

Ghod - all have been available throughout the transfer window. we've clearly wanted rid of them all summer.

I suspect wages is the big stumbling block.

Irish

It's important to give the people (not the peepul) what they want

Is promotion a possibility this year Ivan?

Meanwhile the club across the road sign a world class international striker. The 6th top scorer in the history of the Scottish national team.It really shows the difference between the city's top flight team and the lower league team.

Still very hard to gauge Irish. I've very little confidence in the manager and I don't think he's the man to get us up.

Saying that, back to back wins including a good win at the weekend against Partick certainly bodes well. He's clearly following the Livingston model where he's building a big, physical team of six foot + players. Not the kind of football I like to see but if it's effective then I'll have to endure it and see how it goes.

I find it interesting that Dundee are adopting the United model of selling off your best young players on the cheap then replacing them with ageing journeymen players.

I think we all remember how well that turned out for us.

Some may be of the opinion that Kenny Miller is not getting any younger, but sometimes with signings you just have to take that risk and hope that people's opinion turns out to be incorrect. Who knows maybe in a couple of years, towards the end of his 2 year contract, he could be approaching 36 rather than 40. We are not football people, let's leave this to the experts. They know what they are doing.

Young United midfielder/defender Scott Allardice out on loan to Dumbarton.

Slightly surprised he's not part of the squad. Not a great player but a good back up.

Csaba sticking with experience.

Ivan.

Heard on the grapevine last night that David Hannah is heading back to Tannadice.

Good signing.

That's Keatings away now.

Just saw Ray McKinnon left for Falkirk from Morton

Championship has so many changes to keep track of. And it seemed he was doing well with morton too.

Dundee United in decent position too for a promotion attempt. It looks like being a league that will be up for grabs by pretty much anyone
