I think it's good business for Celtic tbh. Massive return on investment, and they've still got Griffiths and Eduard up front where we have Morelos, Lafferty, and Comedy Umar. I've not really seen much of Eduard but if he's worth the money they threw at him then still a solid enough front line for the league.

Totally agree. Think we’ve strengthened midfield and defence now. Up front not so.

Agreed.

And the dembele situation was cast from the moment we signed odsonne.

Not a bad window...although I wanted a right back.

Imagine the bravado had the bears managed to get a guy like Benkovic in. He'd be the second best centre half ever to play on Scotland before they'd even seen him. After young McCrorie obviously.

So glad that I unfiltered the two prime dafties last Sunday before the humbling at Motherwell. Been great to read the absolute rumblings this week as they slither from draw to draw.

Hilarious tomorrow if we win. Also quite funny to see the premature splunkings if they happen to get a draw or better. Wonder who'll be first to declare a shift in the 'balance of power'.

This is a bigger game for Rangers than us I believe and as such the pressure is more on them to show how far they have progressed against a side who whilst dominating totally for so long have in their eyes regressed significantly.

What will be will be 👍

For the first time in a while, I'd say this is our biggest, just due to the backlash that would occur if we were to lose.

We could have lost any last year or the year before and we'd have gotten over it fairly quickly but with the nonsense off the field lately we need a win.

A win and everything looks rosy well, for a few weeks anyway until Benkovic does his hammy and Edouard gets ruled out for the season

Agreed ginger....and if Gerrard doesn't win tomorrow it will have been a shockingly bad start to the domestic season for him.

Allan mcgregor scraping them through against dross in Europe doesn't paper over any cracks.

They might be better than last season...,but they could also be worse. We'll see in a few weeks.

I heard a rambling bear last night talking about doing another 'Manchester' season. Deluded coonts.

I think we're a lot stronger than we were last season, and I think Celtic are a bit weaker. Tomorrow is our best shot at a win in a long time, but I still think Celtic's squad is far stronger than ours overall. If we get a narrow loss, it's just a "we're not there yet", but if Celtic get a loss then it's alarm bells that they've been getting complacent.

Rangers are 100% stronger than last season, organised and fit . I don't know enough about Celtic to say how they compare but to lose Armstrong ,Roberts and Dembele must have an effect. Rangers will be tired after Thursday's game and journey and this might show in the last 20 mins or so. I'd feel more assured if we had Coulibally fit and Tavernier on the bench....time will tell.

They hardly played last year. Dembele was always injured and Forrest is better than Roberts.

Rogic or Armstrong no contest

Failed miserably. Gerrard hasn't got that ruthless streak like his mentor.
