I’m a bit meh about the transfer window. Dembele has gone and good luck to him. We have probably a more solid looking defence if Berkovic comes up to scratch.
Edouard will now get a decent run of games as will Griffiths no doubt. Wanting to see this Arzani at some point and hopefully sooner rather than later.
Midfield is good and solid. Up front we have one option less although on one hand it was a big game player and on the other hand you could never tell when he would be fit.
Defence probably a bit stronger with Boyata settled seemingly and as I’ve said the lad Berkovic.
We should still be far stronger than anyone else in the league but ffs get looking and signing up strengthening for January and the summer. No excuses now that we have again brought in the serious cash despite not being in the CL groups.
Until Sunday and as ever the best team will win.
Ginge been a shambolic window for you guys. Dreadful. And an absolute public embarrassment - the way things have been handled, the way players have downed tools, the way players have called out Rodgers and the way Rodgers has called out the board
I wonder what Boyata must be thinking with Dembele forcing his move. He must be raging

It’s been a toughie all right. We called it wrong on McGinn and I believe our arrogance cost us his signing. I’m not that bothered about it in all honesty. Some you win and some you lose.
Boyata is the one that I’m annoyed at. He made it clear that he didn’t want to sign a contract until after the World Cup. Again we gambled he’d be just the same and probably wouldn’t feature but fair play to him he did, didn’t put much of a foot wrong on the world stage and suddenly the reality of the financial market in football stretching even further away from Scotland became clear as he was subject to a ridiculous £9m bid. Many say we should have grabbed it but the inability of our manager and our scouts to address a weak back line for over 2 years meant we had no choice but to knock it back. Thankfully he seems to have accepted it and buckled down to some very good performances and showed exactly what we would have been missing had he gone. The defence still needs priority attention though and hopefully Berkovic will assist us while we have time and now money.
Which brings us onto Dembele. Once he knew of Lyon’s interest he was off. Nothing would change that so the club has been battling to get the most they could for him. Was always going to happen and we’ve lost a big game but injury prone player. The timing of the sale meant we had no time to get anyone else of quality in. These things happen. For every last minute deadline swoop there’s a happy buyer and a disgruntled seller. Our turn this time.
The Aberdeen lad had a £7m bid knocked back so we were never going to go that far.
Edouard and Morgan I think are great additions and I want to see Arzani.
So all in all a right mixed bag hence my mehness to it all. 👍

In all honesty, it probably matters not a jot to the players. The swing is only in mood and momentum. That means nothing when players enter the park tomorrow.
Celtic can And will field a very strong 11 and at home will be strong favourites. That’s irrefutable
As for us. We’ve clearly built a bit of team spirit and are making it difficult for other teams to beat us. We’re a work in progress. We’ve addressed the biggest issue from last season - the defence. We’re building on that. But we’re still a bit of an unknown quantity at the moment
Tomorrow is a yardstick to some extent. Because Celtic are still a very good side even without Dembele and this will be a big test for both teams character. Celtic carry the psychological advantage of the fixture.
As good as our start has been, and a great transfer window, I genuinely won’t be getting my hopes too high. I still feel Celtic are ahead of us and will probs ly Ger the win. They have a settled 11, a good shape and structure to their play and are at home.
So this is a tough fixture for us. Celtic always turn up for this fixture. Can’t remember the last time we did. And no matter the transformation under Stevie G, it’s hard to get away from that mindset that we’ve lost the last 11 fixtures v yous.
I expect a close contest but I think you’ll scrape it by the odd goal. Hope tae fhvck im wrang tho as it would cap a great week.
Either way it’ll still be a great week for us. Half looking forward to tomorrow. But they’re akways a hard watch

It’ll be much closer tomorrow and certainly not the 5-0’s of old.
I still expect a healthy 2 goal win. Certainly much more looking forward to it than any of the last few which to be honest were strolls in the park. The best of which was the 3-2 away win at Ibrox.
Rookie manager, off the back of a gruelling trip to Russia where we had to see out the game with 9 men, playing away from home with only 800 fans vs a team that splashed the cash on a 9 million pound striker, team full of players that have never experienced the OF derby.
We’ve got no chance, it will be a major embarrassment if Stevie G and the famous Glasgow Rangers beat Brendan and his manky mob in their own midden.

Listen anything can happen in an OF game.
I remember going to Ibrox with Lennon in charge and we were without 4 of our big players, Brown, Ledley, Hooper and someone else, can't remember who actually but i feared the worst that day, we won 2-0.
Sometimes the first 5 minutes of an OF game are the most crucial.

Probably true. One thing for sure about Celtic. They always start this game quick and look for an early goal to set the tone.
Fookin Rogic always scores against us
I’m not sure we’ll finish the game with 11 players

Listen anything can happen in an OF game.
I remember going to Ibrox with Lennon in charge and we were without 4 of our big players, Brown, Ledley, Hooper and someone else, can't remember who actually but i feared the worst that day, we won 2-0.
Sometimes the first 5 minutes of an OF game are the most crucial.

Was maybe the case before and that scenario is back again certainly for tomorrow.
But I think we will be too much still for Rangers

Probably true. One thing for sure about Celtic. They always start this game quick and look for an early goal to set the tone.
Fookin Rogic always scores against us
I’m not sure we’ll finish the game with 11 players
