I don't want to watch any trailers, but is this a linear game like say, uncharted or the new tomb raider? Or is there license to roam?

There is a pretty good story, so will be somewhat linear, but there are also side missions, and as far as I understand you can swing freely to your hearts content.

In no way was I being critical of u amiga, u might wanna re-read what I said (actually I did say u are a fan boy!) but I think u would admit to that. Apologies if it seemed u was being personal, I wasn't. I was having a go at developers who mislead customers

If they have the swing system on point that in itself is a side mission, I used to just spend time messing about swinging about pike a pro on spiderman 2 I think. They then dumbed down the swinging in further spideys but this one looks pretty spot on

Fair enough orange, I am not actually a fanboy, but at least you are man enough to apologise. so apology accepted.

The only thing I would say, try and be a little more open minded before taking as fact something you see on the internet.

You have my respect for the apology and I hope you enjoy the game.

Mike the PS4 pro is certainly an upgrade, If you are buying a new PS4 I would certainly go for the Pro, but if you already have a PS4. I would stick with that.

Pretty much what I thought, my release day ps4 is slowly passing away I think, starting to sound noisier and seems like it needs a breather every now and again when loading up.

Will use it until it dies and then replace with a Pro, but wouldn’t go out and upgrade for the sake of it judging by the graphics of new games coming out side by side.

I thought u were being pedantic about the pro! It runs quite a bit quicker and quieter than the original ps

Pretty much what Amiga said re the pro: if you have a few hundred quid or a good trade in offer get a pro, but an OG will be fine unless your running a decent 4k TV. Not much point in upgrading imo even if you have a 4k TV but seriously if that is the type of thing that bothers you consoles shouldn't be where you are at.....come join the master race ,

Dude as with all the big games I really want to play them......but time and my PC have made a huge dent in my PS4 gaming time, and then there is battle field next month so, I'll certainly pick it up one day 😂 But will go in my back log with Horizon and GoW, just can't get enough pubg

Open beta for battlefield starts 2moro if u pre ordered. Sadly this time u need to pay upfront with the preorder but don't feel so bad as all dlc will be free. Some big changes being made to bf that I'm looking forward to.

Beta started yesterday if you pre ordered and opens up to everyone tomorrow. The ability to install started on Monday.

I'm looking forward to it, some nice things have been added, especially the changes in the classes.

Hmmm i tried to start up the beta and it told me that only pre-access was available (i have pre-ordered the game) so i thought that meant that only those that pre-ordered the deluxe edition got early access as it says thats one of the perks for the deluxe edition?

Maybe its just EA/Dice problem? I have had problems with battlefield in the past !!

So is it defo a fully open beta as off tomorrow?

Finally got it working !! you also had to download some enlister thing aswell as the beta, aswell as pre-order.

Its very different (I am a BF veteran) it still feels like BF1 in the movement. Gun mechanics have completely changed and I still havent got used to not spotting enemies.

Really notice the difference in ammo being restricted, when on killing spree's you will need to pick up that ammo or pick up others guns. (now when you pick up a gun its just the gun, you dont switch classes).

Very much more skill based which Im all for recoil is much stronger but they have gotten rid of random spread for a more predictable recoil pattern so can learn and master a weapon. Will blast a few more hours tonight.

I've heard that while Spiderman looks fantastic and the gameplay mechanisms are very good, the storyline is fairly dull and the use of the (very good) roster of villains is disappointing.
