Best midfield in the prem

Feel free to take into accounts replacements and subs.
Liverpool - Henderson, Fabinho etc
Chelsea - Fabregas, Barkley, RLC etc

LIverpool has the potential to be right up there once Fabinho and Keita have settled in. Wolves with Neves and Moutinho probably could even be included in the debate

Yeah was just about to mention Wolves.

Hard to assess this isn't it, on paper Utd should be higher but their midfield just doesn't seem to function. Liverpool will need a bit more time to figure out our best midfield.

Really like the look of the Chelsea midfield, remember Kovacic being really highly rated before his move to Madrid.

Nah Arsenal not even top 6. Wolves have a better midfield. So do Fulham and Everton. Even West Ham would in a shout if they weren't in shocking form.

Man City easily have the best midfield. Most expensive midfield too...

Would swap Chelsea with Spurs for the time being. Chelsea could overtake them things are going.

Fulham, Everton, Watford's midfields all better than United & arsenal's... Never mind the other top 4

Sort of depends what your criteria is.

City, Pool & Spurs all have midfields that perfectly compliment the overall team's style, why'll we have one player (Jorginho) that perfectly compliments ours better than all the individual players of those three teams, maybe outside of KDB.

In terms of individual quality player for player United would be at least second. Not just for the starting three atm but because of the depth and variety they have - Herreira is arguably the most underrated player in the PL, Fellaini has one trick which the manager utilizes well, Pereira looks decent.

And you say we're the most improved midfield. I wouldn't disagree with you but Arsenal run us pretty close. Torreira is a player they've needed for over 10 years and Guendouzi looks a really promising young player.

Spurs, City and possibly Utd have the best balance.

Best midfield is comfortably Man City's. In terms of individuals and depth it is Chelsea's.

How so?
Pogba, never hit the heights and looks lost.
Matic, hasn't played well for over 2 year now.
Fred, Has not impressed me so far.

I think fellaini is underrated though, say what you will but a great option to have off the bench.

Milner, the midfielder in zimmerframe and Winjaldum,

The worst duo ever in the middle of the park.

Two home games and they looked good, now they are taunted as the best midfield ?

Not even tested

Wait until mid Jan, to make articles like this one?

Its same as Liverpool fans crowning themselves as champions already..in September ?

Anyone remember Hull City few years back when they were topping the league?

How the rest of the season found them floundering!

Matic has always been slightly suspect, but Fred's a tricky little player and Pogba has all the tools to be the most dynamic CM in the league (Juventus Pogba would be).

Also slight bias because I really rate Ander Herriera. Solid gritty player who has a magic pass in his locker, amazing squad player to have. Would take him in a heartbeat at Chelsea

Jose played Essien & Ferreira at CB once. Don't pin his weird decisions on Herreira
