I would like to further add it seems very unlikely he will be content with a PL Derby County. Still, let's hope he can help us to get there.
Which of us would rather have kept 22 goal Vydra or have had this great protege?
From a selfish point of view I would love a Derby promotion and then would like him to stay on loan for a PL season.
Looks a real player
I've already expressed the view that, if he enjoys his football at Derby and enjoys the love of Derby's fanbase, and we get promoted, and Chelsea are absolutely loaded with international talent, he might just want to stay on for another season
How's he getting on performance wise?
Stole my thunder a bit there, Ramdini
Off to watch the boy and Fik Tomori at Carra Ruud, this evening.
Will be back with a 'For Those Who Could Not Attend'-style report after the game or sometime tomorrow
Different sorts of players Ang, Vydra is all first touch and run in to space. More suited to a Rowett type of team. Mount likes the ball played to his feet. Mount I am sure will be better than Vydra, he reminds me of Kenny Dalgleish but with pace.
Agreed Spart.
Was just being concise.

Sorry if I did. But look forward to your summary.
Like already said, he clearly wants to play football at the highest level he can.
So, this season, it suits him to play 40+ games for us. Next season, he will want to play Premiership football. He will want to play for Chelsea, but if (a) we are in the Prem (b) there are limited chances for him at Chelsea, then he may well stay.
Time will tell
I hope he will stay but would not be surprised if he didn't. Chelsea will be a big pull.
Ill just enjoy watching him on a game by game basis. He will improve with every game and come Christmas he should be directing play and getting on the ball more.
He’s only one tackle away from it being all over. I’ve seen it too many times, especially with our midfield.
Iwas, do you mean they'll clog him or something else?
Leeds gave him a bit of rough treatment. They may play some decent passing football now, but like South American sides they take no prisoners. More fouls committed by Leeds than any other side in the Championship.
It Is as it ever was then Spart? Not known as "The Dirties" for nothing if it is as you say.
Yes Ramdini. It's a tough league. Bit of a footballers graveyard.
The team with the worst disciplinary record in the Championship though is none other than our red doggie friends down the A52.
The key to this season is at DM. It slways seems to be. I know it was Hull reserves but Huddz quietly going about his work. Simple quick footed link ups between the back four Mount transformed us from just winning to totally dominating.
Mount receiving the ball further forward allowed him to show his best work.
I believe Frank knows this and from now on we’ll see Huddz starting and Thorne on the bench as back up. We are fortunate with two players in our squad who can do this and with a host of willing runners for them to find we are going to be terrifying going forward.
I’m very opimistic about this season and I believe if we were to play Leeds next weekend it would be a different result.

Very little to report I'm afraid, except that he didn't get his debut and Tomori wasn't even on the bench. However, on about 30 mins he came over to our corner, with 2 other subs. Have to admit I spent the next 5 minutes watching our Mason warm up and missed that portion of the game.
Shouted out to him a couple of times, but I presume he didn't hear me, as he refused to look in my direction. Surprising really as no one else in the crowd was making much noise at all !
As regards the game, it was a high quality, quick passing end-to-end game, which was fairly equal and could have gone either way.
One of those games where lots seemed to be happening, but very little of it was memorable.
