He's trying to play the right way but Ireland have been terrible
Arise Sir Giggsy.
Genuinely preferred him to take over once LVG went, in the belief we'd see the things (fast tempo, attacking football with a team that has several young players) you've mentioned.

Yes indeed they have but the intent is there from Giggs's side to take advantage through attacking play.
I think he should get a shot at the top job for a short time at least. Maybe until he end of the season

Fine performance, but let’s not kid ourselves, Denmark thrashed this Ireland team 5-1 in their own backyard.

It's also easier to get reactions from a group that probably idolized him growing up and are now playing for him. Would a Sanchez or Pogba be the same?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He's hardly been Wales' fans most popular player down the years has he? Doubt many of the current players will have grown up idolising him.
I'm not claiming him as a messiah but tonight showed a glimpse of what he's going to be about as a manager. The same ethos as United are known for.
I think it would be too soon now, and the Welsh public would never forgive him if he abandoned Wales, but may be an option in a few years.
Away from my United hat, and putting my Welsh one on, that was a great start for him in competitive football as well as a very encouraging performance for today and the future.

Watched the 2nd half. Wales looked good going forward. Could have had more.

Give it him till the end of the season.
Really enjoyed how we went about the game. Denmark will be a sterner test (if they have their proper team out, not the lower league and futsol players), but very encouraged that Giggs wants to play football the right way. Would love him to do well with Wales, leave on a high, and progress to one day manage us. So many things can go pear shaped though, so just enjoying tonight's result.
Ah, just read on the BBC that Denmark will be full strength. Pleased in a way, as it will be interesting to see how Giggs will approach it, and if he keeps faith with the youngsters.

Hi Babyen. Good win tonight and pleasing performance. Full of youth, pace, enthusiasm and attacking intent! Denmark will be a much sterner test if, as is now expected, their first team are playing but I am very much encouraged by tonight's game.
I’ve seen some bad Irish sides in my life but that was one of our worst.
Really hope Giggs does a good job for Wales though and proves himself as a manager. Encouraging start.
Ronaldo is done and gone...watch Bale to to rise to occasions and beat teams this season on his own now...

I think everybody would love to see Giggs in charge of the club at some point.
Wales is a huge first job for him, if it goes well, who knows?
