I Watched the Borg Mcenroe film the other night. Really enjoyed it and would recommend it as it shows how 2 completly different temperaments and playing styles actually admired and respected each other
so much so they brought out the best out of each other and played one of the greatest matches of all time. McEnroe famed for his outbursts controlled and behaved himself and earnt the respect of the Wimbledon crowd.
Serena's tantrum was a selfish act and showed she had no respect for her opponent and was hoping it may have unnerved her but it didn't and she was well beaten by the better player on the day.
Is and always has been a racist.

They all love it when John McEnore used to verbally assaults a ref but outrage when a black women does it.

Yeah, fack off with your racist/sexist bullcrap. It is boring now.
So many with the victim mentality, people need to grow up and accept punishment when they do wrong. She was punished for breaking the rules not for her colour, not for being a woman.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I said the media loved it when McEnore lost the plot. There was even calls in the 90s complaining that this does not happen anymore.
SW does it and now its bang out of order.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Do you have anything to back it up? I'm pretty sure mcenroe was condemned and ridiculed for his behaviour at the time. Can anyone confirm?
(Kash) I'm the Mane (U1108)
There's plenty in the media supporting her and I'm not really sure why you're going on about the media.
We can all find examples of hypocrisy there - men, women, black, white...

because men speak like that to the umpires all the time and get away with it

Absolute nonsense.
Lots of examples of men being punished for outbursts to the umpire.
Why do people like you make stuff up just to try and make a point?

yeah havng read Kash's comment it makes less and less sense with each read. The original Sexism accusation is against the umpire and the Tennis Association. He then mentions how the media loved mcenroe...completely unrelated.
McEnroe, like many other "bad boys" of sport is looked on more favourably now than when he was playing. He was heavily criticised during his career by the media, and often mocked. It overshadowed his ability.
Serena herself has got away with a lot that she should have been punished for. That doesn't suit the narrative of SJWs though.

he was actually disqualified from the aus open for his "tantrums"
McEnore is before my time so I don't know what the media reaction was then. What I know is that those actions are now revered and have been for a while.
Sue Barker loves to bring it up every Wimbledon with McEnore like it was something which made tennis.

Again not sure why you are bringing up the media when the sexism accusation is against an umpire.
And regardless, you said this "They all love it when John McEnore used to verbally assaults a ref but outrage when a black women does it."
I don't even know who is "outraged" in the media.

Keep your hair on
I'm not playing the sexist card. I was driving yesterday and had 5 live on where the BBC tennis correspondent was discussing how SW was out of order blah de blah. This is the same BBC who love to show McEnore every year abusing refs and having a laugh over it. I'm only talking about that.
Not a fan of tennis so no idea if this is sexist.
switches from racism to sexism
Any ideas why this spoilt brat behaviour is being swept under the carpet and people are licking her nether regions.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Who are these people m8 ?
Not being alive when McEnroe had his tantrums so could be wrong here.
"You cannot be serious" ie disagreeing with a call, not questioning the integrity of the official.
Serena for all her bleating really showed the world the side of herself which isn't conducive to being a role model.
But she's a mother, so it doesn't matter.
Has anyone suggested that she might have a bit of PND and be a bit hormonal?
You'd probably get lynched if you said that in public, mind.

Thanks for that.
What do you think I'll be prosecuted for?
For making false claims and deformation of character of a public public persona such as Williams in public
I've not made any claims.
I've made a suggestion and having read up on the subject, it seems she has recently been speaking about dealing with PND.
Whether it affected her on the weekend, no one knows.
Better luck next time
