Let’s pretend it happens...what time will the match be played? If it’s 7:00 pm New York time, that means that it would air at midnight U.K. time. If an English club was in the final, and I was a fan of that club, I would be livid.

No surprise but if that game takes place on the West Coast then the kick off will be at a ridiculous time. Anything later than about 1pm local time and most of the world would struggle to watch it.

You'd have to think they'd do it for European time zone as surely the European TV money would be more than the American TV money?

Can't imagine sky or BT would pay as much as they are for a 1pm kick off

Moving the CL final to 7 45 Saturday was a step towards this.

Playing it on a weekend means it can be played early afternoon in NYC and broadcasted at normal time in the UK.

It's actually not that much further away than Istanbul or Kiev and way easier to get to than Kiev.

Not actually that against it.
