Why the feck does Bennett live in Liverpool?!?!?

Shame Ward may be missing as well as i would really fancy our wingers up against him though i think he plays left mid quite often now.

Burnley have been doing well in the Premier League in the last couple of seasons by being hard to beat, but they have been poor defensively in recent games, conceding 13 in their last 5 games.

Let’s hope we can stick a few past them. Wolves are odds on to win the game, wonder how many times that has been the case in the top flight in the last 30 years or so. Hard to imagine it being easy though and if the injury Jiminez has picked up with Mexico keeps him out of the game that will be a blow as he has been one of our best players so far this season. It would give a chance to Leo though and hopefully he can add to the goal he got in the Carabao Cup recently.

Reports that Jiminez returned from Mexico with an injury are now being questioned by the Mexican press with reports that as the second game of the break being only a friendly, he asked to be released. Hope that proves to be true. He scored Mecico’s Goal in the first game with a penalty.

Reports from Portugal say that Neves was the star man for them in their win against Italy and he looks to have now cemented his place in the national team

Bully has been granted the freedom of the city. I always used to think that Graham Turner ought to get some kind of similar honour for what he did in dragging the club from its lowest point back to respectability. seeing him with Steve today at the ceremony, Incredibly GT has hardly changed since he was at the club. Congratulations Bully, I hope though that the gaffer gets similar recognition one day

Agree which is why I have always put Turner as our most important manager of my time following Wolves

It was a bit of a surprise when Graham Turner was appointed as Brian Little has been doing well and was unlucky to be sacked. But Turner did a great job getting us back from the depths to the second tier. Never really looked like getting us above mid table at that level though

I recall a game against Orient I think it was, just after Turner took over, we were a goal down with 20 minutes to go and the fans were getting on Turners back and singing 'one Brian Little'.

We won 3-1.

Anyway back to Wolves Burnley, I see Wardy has 'inadvertently' been dishing the dirt on Roy Keane in the Harry Arter 'scandal'. Maybe they were right and he is Mick's love child after all.

Yes Wardy has put his foot in it there. Not sure he’ll get any more Irish caps while Keane is involved

I hope Sam Vokes doesn't come back and haunt us. I felt he never got a chance when we got him from Bournemouth over 10 years ago. But there again, we had an inept manager, who never gave him a chance and kept loaning him out.

Quite astounding that Keane has a role in the game at all or on the TV, he is clearly unstable and genuinely needs help.

Can't stand the guy. Useless wherever he has been.

Well that 'inept manager' did get us promoted wolfie. I felt that after that promotion Vokes wasn't ready for premier league football. I recall him coming on against Man U when we needed an equaliser and him missing a sitter. He was just one of those players that needed to move on to develop his career.

I'm more worried about Wood and Vydra to be honest.

Wolves could have done with more inept managers over the last 30 years or so rather than employing the many guys that turned us into a club that just tried and failed to achieve promotion

Can’t wait for Sunday. Seems so long since the last home game. Hate the international breaks

Remember a game at Molineux against Burnley a few years ago when a Burnley fan managed to get into the home part of the ground and sat next to me. Could have got him thrown out but he seemed a decent guy so I let him stay. Did make him stand up and applaud when Wolves scored though

Witless is blocked, so I only saw this as you replied copying in his original post. Spangles is spot on with his subsequent comment. Ironic too that the poster who always had a hissy-fit whenever anyone brought up the subject of Mick has done that himself. Trumpesque twaticity personified.

I'm just looking forward to being "Home" on Sunday, seems like far too long since we've played

I'm looking forward to playing at home again but 1:30 on Sunday is causing me all sorts of logistical nightmares.

Will spare you the details but it better be bloody worth the hassle!!
