I agree. Vorm fills me with nerves. Last time Gazzaniga played I was impressed with his performance
Gazzaniga is such an unknown though. Would be more worried with him.
Where does all this hope and optimism about Gazzaniga come from? One game? Great sample size.
I'm not Vorms greatest fan but he did naff all wrong at Watford, it was the shambles infront of him.

Don't care, would rather give him a chance than have Vorm in goal. Hopefully it's his time to shine. Worst case we know we have 2 awful back up keepers and it's a position we need to strengthen.

Vorm is a capable keeper when he's had a run of games....is the most positive thing I can say...
Playing out from the back (esp Vs Pool) worries me somewhat tho
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He'll kick it out for a corner
Well, he ain't drunk when he drives ..... so he'll probably get to the ground on time!

If he’s worse then you will care.
Not that keen on Vorm, but come on Gazzinga has only ever played one game. Problem with back up keepers, they very rarely play. You probably aint going to get much better just to come and sit on the bench. Most Prem clubs, if not all have the same problem. Take any of their first choice goalies out, and their back ups are usually several levels down.

What decent goalie is going to come, just to sit on the bench?

Someone better than Vorm. Maybe a young up and coming keeper waiting for his chance. There must be options that are better than Vorm.

Ok but are we ever going to give him a chance or is he going to be 3rd choice and never get a game for the rest of his career at Tottenham?
He came in and had a solid performance against Southampton (?). To me he deserves another chance and I would rather that than Vorm in goal.

Could say the same for Sissoko and Llorente but of course the club didn’t see fit to make any discernible efforts to strengthen the squad this summer.
One of my mates' Mum used to put Gazziniga up when he played for Gillingham. Cracking lad. Unfortunately, she passed away a few years ago whilst he was at Southampton. He turned up at the funeral on his own to pay he respects.
Vorm should start though

Pretty sure it was vs Palace.
Flashy
Couldn't remember who it was against.
If it was a cup game, then I would put Gaaz in goal.
However, it's Liverpool. We need our best possible XI out. Vorm is the best keeper we have and is the most experienced.
It was two free headers that cost us the game at Watford. The THREE CBS we had playing couldn't defend two set pieces - Vorm did very little wrong IMO.

This
It would be too risky to suddenly throw in a largely untested keeper into a big game against one of the best attacks in the league.
Vorm isn't brilliant but he's not that untrustworthy is he? Not as if he's Gomes in his peak clanger days.
Exactly Spurtle. Some people going on as if Vorm has turned into David James circa 1997. He’s an ok deputy, I can’t think of too many clubs in the league who have pretty good number 2 goalkeepers...
Bravo
Romero
Mignolet
Caballero
Cech/Leno
Stekelenberg
Heaton
Adrian
Forster
To name a few.
What was the name of that young Spanish keeper that we had and then loaned out and then seemed to lose? About two or three years ago?

We should be after Heaton in the summer. Burnley will soon have Hart & pope as there two GKs.
