snooker is so boring now, i was sponsored when younger to be a pro player but didnt make it but i was hooked on the game and the sport had so many personality

Today's players are like robots and no fun to watch and i cant see Hearn turning it back round like he has done with Darts, snookers hay day was in the 80s

What's your highest break? fair play for coming close to turning pro. I still love the game very much. Lot's of big money with snooker these days though but yes I agree Snooker was at it's prime in the 80s.

Always loved my snooker, don't know what will happen when the great man retires...

I haven't played snooker for a month well need to get back to it.

Jimmy Robertson wins The European Masters by beating Joe Perry 9-6 in the final, Jimmy had at least 3 matches where he won 4-3 and one of the matches he was 3-0 down. Fair play to him for landing his first ranking title <applause, he has also booked his place in the Champions of Champions

English Open starts next Monday live on Eurosport & Bravo

Judd needs to win something so badly it's been a year since he last won an event.

Stuart Bingham won the English Open by defeating Mark Davis 9-7 in the final. First ranking final for Mark and a massive shame he couldn't win, he beat John Higgins 4-2, Ryan Day 5-1 and Ronnie O Sullivan 6-1 on his way to the final.
International Championship will be the next event and the last one before the Champions of Champions.

Mark Allen beat Neil Robertson 10-5 in the final of the International Championship. Schedule all updated for the Champions of Champions tomorrow I'll be going to both sessions of the final next Sunday.
