Out for 3 weeks minimum, hamstring injury.

Blame Sarri for his team selection on Thursday, 2 injuries and a poor performance today.

In hindsight it's easy to blame Sarri but even on Thursday I think we all felt the team could've been rotated so much more.

Why did Kepa, Rüdiger, Alonso, Jorginho, Kanté, Pedro and Willian all have to play?

Why was Emerson not even on the plane?

Caballero, Zappa, Christensen, Ampadu, Emerson, Fabregas, Barkley, Ruben, Odoi, Morata and Moses should've been enough to get a result over there at least.

Yeah he should have played the same team you suggested. That PAOK were terrible and if we got a draw with a weakened side no harm done, just win our home games in the EL, we're through

Wasn't hamstring at all. Grabbing the front of his leg.

Why do you need to rotate a goalkeeper?

Rotating keeper not the issue, not bothered who's in goal vs terrible opposition in EL.

Surely you play the kids and rest the likes of Kante, Jorginho, Alonso, Rudiger, Willian and Pedro

Your Goalkeeper should be able to play seven days a week!

Yeah because Cahill has never played a pl game some people slate this guy for no reason. More than adequate replacements in Cahill and Christensen.

We have plenty of cover for central defenders, Cahill, Christensen and Ampadu are all competent players.

I’m not slaying him. He’s an adequate defender - but not against speedy strikers, which is what I said. You really are over protective when it comes to Cahill. We need speed at the back - and that’s not something Cahill provides. It’s ok to be honest about our players.

Why couldn't Cahill play vs that shocking Greek team?

Rudiger would have had a decent rest and fresh for today without the unnecessary injury

He's dealt with speedy strikers his whole career including the end of last season where he was great.

Name me a time when I have been "over protective" of him? I was slating him beginning of last season. I'll wait.

If by dealt with you mean ushered them into goal from 50 yrds out then I agree.

Like I say, people seem to just want to slate him for no reason.
Christensen ushered someone wide the other day and it was deemed "good defending". if the shoe fits I guess.

I doubt we have conceded 5 goals due to cahill's "backing off" which people overplay.

I like that you defend loyal Chelsea players, Nick, but you obviously view them through blue-tinted glasses. I just don’t think you are always realistic. He WAS a decent defender, always consistent, strong, great in the air, and additionally provided a goal threat. He was never a very technically gifted player - although in the past that wasn’t a big deal for a premier league defender. It is more important now though, with Sarri wanting the team to play from all positions - not just hoof it upfield. Plus (and this may be hard for you to admit), at 32 he is even slower now than he used to be. That’s not to say he is a bad player - but I think it’s fair to say that he is no longer the solid player he once was.
Plus, Rudiger has been fantastic this season - so swapping Rudiger for Cahill is a big downgrade for us. It’s ok to admit it Nick.
