I cannot stand Colby however, his style has proven effective against certain styles. I will be rooting for Usman and I personally hope he knocks him out because I find Colby's persona to be annoying and clearly forced.

Usman isn't a KO specialist but he'll still have enough to get the win over that prat CC. Like you, I too hope he get's sparked clean out but I just don't see it unfortunately.
I can't stand either of them both seem annoying and dumb. At least colbys embracing the hate, he's pushing it far now
cc strategy is simple yet effective, round 1 take you opponent down and sap his energy taking away that ko power, 2nd round more of the same nut not as much, rds 3-5 stand and strike his way to a points win as his opponent is too tired to do anything, usman wont tire though and you wont be able to maul him similar to how he was able to do so with rda/lawler, interesting too see which way Colby goes for this fight

I'm rooting for Diaz but my head says Pettis, it's only a 3 round fight.
Romero KO.
Really don't know with DC vs Stipe. DC looks powerful at HW but I'd say Stipe is still a slight favourite. Would love a DC win, fight Jones at HW and the winner to fight Ngaunnu.
Dc fights stipe, then either retires or has his last one against Jones. No point of ngaunnu
great card this weekend, will be up in the early hours
Yeh some nice looking fights on the card, and promises to be lots of actions, for me I would say:
DC via TKO/KO - cant really see anything else, like Miocic but dont think he has enough to beat DC. He is a better striker but DC takes downs will take that away and I think a finish in 3/4
Petits will win, Nate struggles to keep concentration for many fights and I think we are to the one where he will struggle. Also Petits is looking good
Last one I fancy Costa, young cocky big hitter. He has shown we can weather a storm, which he will need to, and I expect a KO from him

Yeah, I'm done defending that guy, p!ss poor behaviour.
Tbf he's done anyway past a Nate Diaz and possibly a cowby fight. Khabib would embaress him again, all he can offer is money which khabib doesn't care about. His ufc run is pretty similar to rondas
His ufc run is pretty similar to rondas
------------
pushing it a bit there, as much as I cant stand him his run at featherweight was beastly, mendes/aldo just to name a few are no joke, demolished alvarez as well at lightweight, just got to a point where like a lot before him believed the hype about himself and cared for the fame more instead of the fighting
ronda's record was garbage in comparison
Different time really, it was similar to the crap level when ufc first started, not that you can ever compare the mens and womens, fame wise they did the same thing, got their money and got out.
think upto diaz 2 conners head was still in the ufc game, after that win with the mayweather talk that's when it started to go wrong for him, talent wise if he kept his head in it he would have done a lot more in the ufc(silly to say because hes a 2 weight champ)
I think he realised the levels had gone up and he couldn't keep up, Diaz is not championship level
maybe but he smacked up eddie alvarez after that who was champ and a very good fighter
Do you think he would be now? I don't particularly, fighters have got a lot better very quickly, it's crazy the level now
I'm not saying mcgregor's not an amazing fighter, but he only wants to be going for the title now and he just not there
now no, you cant keep jumping in and out the sport like that and expect to be at the top, mma is still relatively new and your right the advances in just a few years are massive
