A half assed McGregor can take rounds off him, and Jorge looks much better than that Conor. And a prime Conor who is focused can give them both a run. I would actually take Jorge to beat Khabib quite comfortably on current form

Looking at the cuts again, it may have been the right call. But we know Nate cuts easily and it doesn't look like there was any damage beyond a tear in the flesh.

As for Khabib, we havent seen him against somebody as accomplished on the ground as Nate, nor as fit. And a striker as ruthless as Masvidal right now, a weight above would be interesting.

Even Conor could cause him issues with the right adjustments. I think he's peaked now, his hunger has gone, but he shouldn't be written off. On current form Masvidal whipes the floor with him imo.

Well a half assed Conor didn’t take rounds off him though did he. And winning 1 round max out of 4 in an absolute battering doesn’t make it less of a battering.

And one day you'll realise Conor was much better than most give credit for but just hide behind the carp of the hype train. Admittedly he lost focus but early Conor was excellent, but you "purest" just like to say he was never all that and all hyped up

what exactly is a prime conner, seems like every time he losses he was distracted but when he wins he was defo the prime conner

overall a really good card, laughed at johnny walker getting ko'd, happy that till was able to prove a lot of people wrong, most thought he would be steam rolled by kg, people moan about boxing cards but how can you have 2 judges who score for each fighter 30-27?

regards to the main event, a lot of nate fans probably holding on to the fact he gets stronger as fights go on but masvidal was not going to slow down from the looks of it, if anything that cut saved nate from a bigger beating

I honestly thought Jorge was making a point and toying with Nate. He was pretty much doing what he wanted, and he wasnt gonna give him a sub attempt which was the only way he was gonna win

McGregor did okay against Khabib, compare his performance to Poirier and that tells a tale of how well he defended take downs and took the big shots.

With the right adjustments he could cause Khabib issues, no doubt. Hopefully he has seen the light and his return shows us the best of McGregor because he's become a bit of a parody.

Make no mistake, he wipes the floor with the LW division, Khabib and Ferguson aside.

I’m excited to see if Conor looks committed and ready to put a run together. After his time out it’s hard to see him getting back to where he was but there’s no doubt he’s the biggest star in ufc and they’ll do what they can to get him there imo.

perfect fight to get the conner hype train going again, get a dominant tko against a limited opponent, shout loudly at everyone, ufc will make a ton of cash, happy days

Ngl I’ll get drawn in. I’m a sucker for some good company led promotion. Ufc has been marketing itself brilliantly lately, some of the stuff bt YouTube has been putting out have been top quality
