----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's the difference between 3rd and 4th. Who cares.
Also I think form is less important as that's in the past, more important what is due to happen, as that's in the future. With Dundee losing all of their opening games, they are due a win. Hearts are due a loss. Therefore Dundee are your best bet at winning their next match, and Hearts are most likely to lose their next match. Dundee are also due a good run, with Hearts due a bad run.
If Dundee can build on the good run that they are due, coupled with Hearts slipping down the table after the bad run that they are due, Dundee could well end up winning the league. I am just looking at the facts here, it's not really debatable.
It's inevitable that Celtic will go on a run. They are the most capable in the SPFL to go on a 9/10 match winning run. Hearts started well but will they go to Ibrox, Aberdeen and Parkhead and pick up all 3 points?
Celtic will win the title but it will go to the last 2/3 games, IMO.
You make a compelling argument based on facts and logic and for that reason I'm going to stock up on DUNDEE FC CHAMPIONS hats scarves and flags ahead of your coronation.
And if for some reason this doesn't happen I'll leave some space to stitch the letters HIP on the end, just in case.

Is it inevitable though given that they've not been able to do this throughout the calendar year, and in fact are the fourth best team in the Scottish Premiership this year?

It would be pretty embarrassing for a club of our size to be in the Championship.
Too many of our fans are just as arrogant as the players. The time for our team to step up is now.
New SPFL Rule Amendment
Seasons are now run January - December to coincide with "facts"
And given that it is only September.. i could guarantee that will we will still win a league set in a calender year
Shouldn't be a problem with your World Class coach
Good to see and can be only healthy for scottish football.
Two teams in Europe until Xmas at least - Co Eff highest its been in years with plenty more games to come.
Lets hope from a Rangers point of view we beat Celtic in the next OF because they is a monkey we need off our backs
Of course it's not inevitable that we will win the league and it won't all just become all right on the night.
There's a malaise about the place and an awful run of poor performances which have already cost us heavily in the CL.
Will it improve and can it improve are the questions?
We haven't suddenly become a team of bad players under a poor manager over the past year. We've become complacent, lethargic, predictable and lazy.
Do we have the players and depth of squad capable of turning our fortunes around and start a winning run again? Of course we do.
Do we have a manager capable of mixing it up and using his nous to make these players better? His track record with us says we do.
We have the best players and the best squad with the best manager so it should turn round for us; but we must sort out our issues quickly.
We are a few points adrift and nothing that two weekends couldn't sort out, but the players must start to deliver and the manager must change his ideas and tactics now.
I think we will win it but forget about any treble talk. That's just not going to happen.
Joe, not seeing any problems there mate?
I think it's great for Scottish football and hopefully it can be sustained throughout the next 8 months.
Celtic beat Rangers with some degree of comfort just weeks ago.
The problem is to do with attitude as much as anything.
They always produce when it matters.
Now they need to appreciate that every game matters.

Spurs had the most accumulated points in the PL from 2015-2017 and in both them years they finished 2nd and 3rd. The annual year points tally can be deceiving... and quite frankly rarely means much in terms of trophies.
Celtic have won 7 League titles in a row... naturally there will be a drop off in appetite, So much so in the PL that no club has won it back to back since Utd in 2007-09.
Celtic will come stronger.
Ginger - if I were Rodgers I'd be pinning this 'calendar year league table' up on the training room door and highlighting that, this year, they're the fourth best team in Scotland and asking them to decide if that's acceptable to them.
I think it's time for a boot up the archie for this Celtic squad.
Great stuff for Hibs and Killie though. I thought Killie would drift off after losing a couple of big players but they're still doing the business. If the Dandies add goals they'll be right in among it as well.
It is great for Scottish football that Celtic are no longer the country's best team.

Many of us don't agree at all
I have not got my September salary yet....season has only started. Celtic fans arrogant - yes a lot are but 7 titles in a row can do that - however think they all know titles have to be won, they are not an entitlement. Rangers fans spunking too early - its what they do - they have a better team without a doubt - so much more spunking too early.
I expect a title race and I hope and am sure all at Celtic are aware of that now after Sunday
There will not be a title race this year

Brenda's got problems. If he starts winning games it means he didn't need new players. If he loses games he proves himself right. He won't walk away, as getting the sack pays better
btw good OP mate saw a few interesting stats on the league in the past few days
RTV views and YouTube views topping even the EPL figures
SPFL is on the up haha
This season the story will be the hare and the tortoise.
Bears are hares of course 😂
