BR: “I told the players I’ve been so impressed with level of intensity in training. It doesn’t guarantee results but it gives you a great chance.”
Wit, so wtf is happening on the pitch then because there is zero intensity in our player.
That was always my point as well NNH
If he sees them doing it well enough in training to earn a start then why the fvck are they not doing it when against a team that most would struggle to get in our reserve side?
John Kennedy does fvck all so why doesn't he take the second XI and play a 90 minute bounce game v Rodgers starting XI.
Kennedy can set his team up to defend, not get dragged out etc. Exactly as happens on a game
BR: “My message is I am privileged to be here. I love my work here. I love my challenges here. I’m looking forward to the next stage of the season to show our fighting qualities.
I'll show him my fighting qualities when i run on the pitch and donkey kick Jack Hendry to the neck if he starts tomorrow.
Sorry but this is a results based business. And for us it’s a results based business which significantly impacts a plc.
So if the football remains turgid and a bore as a spectacle and we don’t continue to win trophies and bring the crowds and the financial rewards in then BR will be sacked.
Plc’s give not one single hoot as to what happened last year. It’s what is happening now and what they see happening in the future is what will decide their course of action so as much as fans scream for the board to just spend more is the same as the fans screaming to give Rodgers a chance.
The board will ignore both pleas equally and do what’s best for the business.
He’s paid to manage the club and improve it and with the backing he’s had and the salary he is being paid, then the league title will be the least of the board’s expectations and quite rightly so. And right now that looks in jeopardy.

Fine margins but the thought of being out of the LC and 9 points behind Hearts come Saturday evening is an absolute embarrassment.
Flag down a black cab and take it to real street NNH.

As far as I'm aware he turned 23 a few months ago.
Lets be clear though, he will still be equally as dire at 32.

I can’t really was he any good at Dundee, I’m sure he got a Scotland cap 😁
Brendan Rodgers on Kris Boyd’s claims that there’s a split in the Celtic dressing room: ‘’he [Boyd] would be better suited trying to get back in the Kilmarnock team’’
#wedonttalkaboutotherteams
He didn't stand out for Dundee which should have been alarming straight away.
Especially at £1.3 million.

Probably just fancied him rather than fancied him as a player.
Rodgers triggered by Boyd
To be fair to Rodgers, Boyd coming out and saying that indicates there is a mole in the squad.
If that is correct then Rodgers needs to out them. If not then Celtic should be contacting the SFA about Boyd.
I suspect there would be someone giving Boyd his info to be fair, wouldn't be surprised if Commons is somehow involved.

I don’t think the sfa can do much , he would be saying that in his pundit role , that goes on all the time
Football really is sad if we have fans calling for Rodgers head. Yes things need to be better, we haven't been performing and we are frustrated watching the performances at the moment, but changing the manager is not the solution to that.
Rodgers is stubborn, but i think he will turn it around. Our transfer window was a joke, and i always worried we were going to lose Dembele at the last minute. We lost 3 of our most creative players from Rodgers first season, and they haven't been replaced.
I don’t think the sfa can do much , he would be saying that in his pundit role , that goes on all the time
He's still a contracted footballer as a member of the SFA, doesn't matter he's also a pundit.
If he wrote a column absolute slating a referee he would be reprimanded.
I don't think anyone wants him sacked, or called for him to be sacked just now.
But if we are looking just as bad and not at least winning our 3 domestic games before the International break then he there will rightly be plenty of calls for him to go.
Given time I have no doubt he would turn it around. It's a question of how much time it will take him to do so.
I think he needs to do it very quickly.
We might well lose our best 2 central defenders inJanuary on top of everything else and I have little faith in us getting decent replacements.
We'd probably be left with Hendry and Ajer
We'd probably be left with Hendry and Ajer
If Hendry isn't sold or punted on loan in January then we need to take matters in to our own hands
Surely he has done enough to buy that time though?
We've been spoiled by success the past few years. As i say the performances have been dire and need improving. No-one disagrees with that. We just seem to have went flat, through lack of spark in the team. Its the spark we need to try get back. We've become complacent.
